My first vaping experience was with a Joye 510. I spent hour after hour reading blogs on vaping and checking out consumer reports and feedback comments on the internet. I heard a lot of feedback about the Joy 510 and other 510 type models that I decided to get one. It's a great product for someone who is not on the go all of the time.

I am looking into the Joye Mega kits. I like them because they are thin like a real cig. I probably should get and Joye Ego but I don't know if I could easily get used to holding the huge ecig.

It would be nice to win the FS Ego to try it out. I have been afraid to buy one. Something tells me that I would really like it better.

The standard 510 is a good little starter unit and if you don't need the extra battery life there's no reason to upgrade. Personally I'd not bother with the Mega 510, if you need a bigger battery go with the eGo or Riva. The price is about the same for a Mega 510 as it is for a Riva and you'll get batteries that are 3 times the capacity. And the eGo isn't really as big as it looks in pictures.

I started out with the Joye 510, but I prefer the Kr808. The 510 battery would last me half a day, but with the Kr808, once I take it off the charger, I don't have to switch it out with the other until 2:00 in the morning sometimes. I wonder why that is when they're pretty much the same size? The 510 is manual while the kr808 is auto, don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Those Joye 510 mega xl batteries are nice - I recommend manual of course. 128mm long w/ a Boge carto, a bit longer w/ cart+atty, and 60% more charge life. I use the mega with a Boge carto (standard resistance is needed for slim batteries) and I use a colored clear plastic driptip as a mouthpiece on the carto.

I hope some day they come out with a roomier PCC for the megas because that's the only thing that keeps me using the standard 510 batteries when I'm out of the house. This PCC for standard 510 batteries is so roomy:

Re Ego - I got a Riva (a well-liked less expensive clone - under $30 for the whole 2-battery Lite Bundle kit at Liberty-Flights.com if you first click the 20% off in the upper left of their front page). I bought it because I've been lowering my nicotine and I want the option of using LR cartos/attys for more heat and you cannot use those on slim ecig batteries. But so far I've just used it with the same standard resistance Boge cartos I use on 510 and the Riva does seem to be slightly higher voltage - somebody said it's 3.4 vs 3.2 for the slim 510. The Riva seems to get a bit more warmth and vapor out of the same carto.

I keep hearing about the Kr808 so that is good. I am patiently awaiting my 510-t but I was realistic and got a pass through, because my desk is where I get into trouble in the first place. I have seen the pcc and will maybe pick one up once I settle in. But are cartomizer really worth it? I did get a t (tank). Well I guess I will soon find out. :D
