I have been vaping for about 8 months or so. I have watched many video's on youtube Pbusardo especially. I have had multiple mods but nothing compares to my Provari, I only wish it were VW that would just about make it perfect for me. But I Have used since day one of vaping a Vision Vi Vi nova. I have tired other tanks such as bottom atty.'s and other top atty's but the Vi Vi nova is low maintenance and works and works well every day all day. But I firmly believe that you get what you pay for and I feel there must be better products out there. But there are SO MANY tanks out there I just have no idea where to go from here. price is not an issue for me at all I want quality. I like a top atty tank I know that. I have never tried a carto except for a couple hits off a friends and didn't like it too much. All Suggestions are so very welcome. Thanks.

I have dual coil vivi nova and it's my favorite! I did buy ProTank 1 and it was so so...but def a good quality product. I haven't tried any other tanks yet. W/ my experience w/ vivi nova and protank, I was able to say I prefer top coil than bottom. easier to maintain, easier to fill liquids and etc. bottom coil is okay but I have major paranoia with liquid leaking to battery.

The only other top coil tank/clearomizer I know of is the iclear 16/30. I didn't like it too much but it definitely has a huge fan base.
If you're really looking for better quality/vape take a look at the kayfun lite (or the russian 91%). Those are rebuildable tank atties. It's a pretty easy build though, nothing to be too scared about, there are tons of YouTube tutorials out there. Great flavor.

I love the Vision Xjet tanks and I just recieved the Aspire Nautilus in the mail yesterday. Waiting for my radiator pluid to come in the mail to test out the Nautilus. I've tried the Protank 3 and didn't like it better then the Vision Xjets.

All bottom coil though...including the xjet.

Not saying bottom coils are not a good solution, but OP seems to prefer top coils. I keep meaning to buy a Nautilus myself as I have seen nothing but good reviews - but I don't even use clearos these days, so I am worried I'd just end up with a $30 vape den decoration.

So I'd say maybe the iClear 30S is the only real alternative, but I would hardly call it an upgrade from the vivi.

Yeah I herd Busardo mention how much he is loving the kayfun and the russian in a vape review of the Futura I was watching earlier. I believe they are basically the same thing as a Vi Vi Nova as far as a top atty tank, but you must build your own atties if I'm not mistaken. Which I am totally open too I have a mech mod and nibus for sub ohm and I mess around rebuilding my ViVi Nova atties sometimes. But yeah I would be totally open to that I am going to look into them more. I think maybe I need to at least buy a decent carto tank and give those a fair try as well. Because I have only taken a couple puffs off of a friends and when I did he had just gotten it and was having all sorts of trouble with the thing his own self so I'm not sure if I really got the a fair impression of them. I know Busardo LOVES them and I see him blowing CLOUDS and raving about flavor from them. I got an airy draw which ended up in low amount of vapor and flavor when I took those puffs off of my friends. Any suggestions on a decent but not too expensive Carto that I would be ...... about it if I hated it. Like I don't know Definitely under $40 and hopefully under $30 for a carto and I am going to research more on Kayfun and Russian's specifically tonight

Also thank you all for the replies I have received up to this point.

I'm thinking you should get your own cartotank and carto and put your own eliquid.

I'm just like you and tried so many tanks. I prefer a warm vape (top coil) and it's pretty limited. After the Vivi Nova V-Fate, which was the best I could find for my ProVari, I went to carto tanks (IBTanked) then the Sophia byLeo and LOVE it. It's an RBA and you can get prebuilts for it so you don't have to worry about wrapping your own coils right away.

It provides a smooth, warm vape and the taste of the juice is crisp and clear. They are awesome. Good luck in your search!

I just wanted to say again thanks to every one for all the replies thus far. I just wanted to say I know that in my last post I was speaking about a price point. That is only for like a starter to see if I like it, ya know. I mean I don't want to spend 60+ dollars on a tank style I have never even really had much experience with. But I also don't want the cheapest possible because I understand you get what you pay for and I know me if I buy junk I will hate it. Ya know like I don't want to ruin my opinion of a certain style of tank because I bought the cheapest thing I could find and it was a nightmare. so as far as Carto's go since I have very little to no real experience with them I would like to try to stay at or under 30 I think and feel as if that should get me a decent enough carto tank to give the style of tank a fair shot at which point if I love it. Then for the next one price is not an issue its quality I will be worried about. Where as with something like a Kayfun if I am correct in that they are a top atty tank. And that you just have to build your own atty, or I guess according one person possibly buy pre built ones (which I would def be interested in at first until I mastered building them myself). Then in that case I would be willing to spend the money and focus on quality of the product more than price point because I already know I am a huge fan of the basic style of tank being Top Atty. Again Thank you so much Every one and please keep the input coming. Thanks Guys :vapor:

Oh and I am pretty sure I already know this but not 100% certain an RBA= Rebuildable Atomizer Correct?
Also one more thing I would greatly appreciate it if every one could do me a big favor and actually spell out any carto or RBA tank's name they might be talking about just so thats one less step I have to do in researching instead of having to figure out the real name then research I can just go straight to google and this forum and Youtube and type in the name of the product ya know Thanks again Ladies and Gents

Ok Every one. Well I have done a bit a research. I think I would like the russian 91% over the Kayfun lite. Not sure if I should jump right into that at $90 +/-. But only because its not exactly what I thought it was I thought it was more of a genesis style, which I would think would be very close to the same vape I am getting from my vivi nova. But it is not exactly that it is quite a bit different. I will probably end up buying one seeing as how every one seems to have soooo many wonderful things to say about them. But I think first I am going to give carto's and carto tanks a try. I am going to order a good punch with a view hole. I am going to order quite a few Bogue Carto's. I am not sure though as to what Tank I am going to invest in. I am very interested in Kir Fanis Tanks I think they are amazing. But I will get one of those only once I know I am going to like Carto's. For now I am looking for a good tank that is not too slidey and preferably with a fill hole in it for around $35 or less. Oh I also need to get a slap yo mama tool too. (but I'll probably just get a knock off) Now any suggestions on what websites currently have some of these things I'm looking for at decent prices would be great. Also any and all suggestions about Carto tanks at or under $35 would be awesome. As well as if there is a such thing as a $40 or less version of a russian/kayfun so that I can try it before I jump in the deep end of a $100 tank, would be GREAT.

Any and all Input on my "Situations" is as always greatly appreciated. And I can guarantee every last post will be read at least by me. Thats for sure. Thanks again all and I'll be looking forward to hearing back from you.

Also I'm not sure if I have yet stated this but I am pretty hard on my equipment. I am a roofer, and honestly a couple times a week my vape hits the ground (usually concrete) some times more some times less but it does get dropped at times for sure. Now my Provari is solid SS I don't even worry about it any more. But as for my vivi nova I keep a spare with me at all times and its so cheap I don't worry about it either. But Now that I am getting into more expensive mods. I either need something that has readily available and fairly reasonable individual parts that can be bought for it, or maybe like the Russian I could just have to SS tube on instead of the plastic one. Not sure how I am going to go about navigating this obstacle just yet. I know I want a better tank for a better vape. But I also know it has to be practical for me and my lifestyle ya know.

Any and all Input on my "Situations" is as always greatly appreciated. And I can guarantee every last post will be read at least by me. Thats for sure. Thanks again all and I'll be looking forward to hearing back from you.
