Love the Nebula

I just received it yesterday, having ordered it less than a week ago - nice shipping time

I have been smoking for 10-12 years, about a half pack a day (and more when booze is involved, of course!) I have tried cold turkey, the patch, gum, nicorette inhaler,etc. Nothing worked. Partly because i LOVE smoking, but moreso, it's just so damn difficult to give up the addiction.

I haven't had any desire for a real cigarette since i opened up my Nebula. Thing this is amazing. I ordered 24mg tobacco flavour, but i find that it doesn't really have a taste at all, so i might try vanilla or something next.

I treat this just like a real cigarette, in that i take it outside to "smoke", and only puff on it every 1-2 hours or so and for about the length of time a real cig would last. Given that, how long should a cart last? I'm still on the first one i screwed on yesterday. I'm trying to figure out how long one on average will last, so that i know how many to order next time so i have a decent amount to last me that i don't have to order constantly.

I thought about buying liquid, but i don't want to carry the bottle around have to drip in all the time.


Anyway, thanks Vapor Nine... I really feel that i'm finally done with smoking for good.

I had the same experience with my nebula, glad to hear it.

You should really just refill your cartomizers, much cheaper and pretty easy to do.

Well, the more reading i do on all this, the more i am thinking of buying liquid. Should i buy empty carts or prefilled and start dripping once empty?


Also, i was wondering if i'll have any issue with my Nebula when flying back to Canada next month. Because these are still fairly new to the US and customs/security *can* be dicks... i'd hate to have it taken away, and while i could put it in my checked bag, i'd like to carry it on so that i can use it in the airport bathroom or whatever if need be. (i'm not even going to risk puffing away on a plane or anywhere public- it may not be a real cigarette but i don't think the reaction would be good)

Has anyone gone through airport security with this and had any questions asked?

I've traveled internationally with mine, used it in the airports in US, UK, Germany, and one the planes - no problems (just don't blow big puffs up into the air).

For security/customs, follow the rules on liquids. Keep the batteries separate from the carts, e.g. put batteries in pen holders in your carry-on bag/purse, carts in their little box.

Buying liquid is the only way to go. If you read the thread here "Some info on empties", you'll find great tips for refilling.
