I've read posts from ECF members who say they never could stand the taste of menthol stinkies, but they love menthol e-juice.

I love cinnamon in food--cinnamon toast, cinnamon rolls, cinnamon applesauce, etc., but I've tried several different juices with cinnamon in them from various vendors and I hate the taste every time.

I'm a huge fresh fruit fan, eating several servings of it a day, but I haven't found one fruit flavored juice that doesn't taste like perfume to me no matter how long they've steeped.

I wouldn't normally reach for anything mint when snacking, but I have a chocolate mint cookie flavor that tastes like a thin mint cookie and is delicious. (Girl Scout inspired vaping? Who knew?)

How about you guys?

I absolutely LOVE my coffee, but have yet to find a coffee flavor I can vape.

I'm a big dessert person, so naturally I thought I would love bakery flavors....and when I first started vaping, I did. I was sure they were going to be my go-to, but after only a month or so they quickly became way too sweet for me. Now I just can't vape them.

Now all I vape are fruit flavors or fruit with a touch of menthol.

I love caramel, but really hate to vape it- it just doesn't translate well for me. I used to love coffee and coffee drinks, but because of stomach issues, I can't drink much anymore, so I thought I'd love coffee flavors- nope, hate them. I love cherry flavored things, so I was sure I'd love those, hate the two I've tried. Not just dislike- they are soo gross.

I never thought I had a huge sweet tooth, but so far, my fav vapes are usually pretty sweet juices, bakery and fruit flavors, love cinnamon. I'm not big on eating or drinking chocolate (yes, I swear I'm a real girl, I like it occasionally, just not obsessively), but I love to vape it.

I have to admit, though, one of my very fav snacks is also one of my very fav vapes- dill pickles.

All in all, I have found that I'm snacking a lot less now that I'm vaping. I've lost a little over 5 lbs so far, and my blood sugars are great. It's such a rewarding hobby, and so interesting finding out what works and doesn't work for you. I love knowing I'm in for a surprise every time I try something new.

I love butterscotch, but have only found one vapeable butterscotch (skipping stones from KBV). Love cherry drinks, black cherry, maraschino cherries, hate any cherry vape. I'm not a big fan of eating fruit. I'll eat it if it's put in front of me, but would never seek it out..... apparently I love it in a vape though. I also like a slight menthol but hated menthol cigs.

I think the moral here is, you have to just try try try everything and see what works for yourself.

I guess I'm weird, because my vaping tastes line up nearly exactly with what I like to eat.

Now if someone could perfect a Sourdough Jack with extra sauce vape...
And a Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo vape...

Well, that would be LIFE-ALTERING!
:)

I'm making chicken fettuccine alfredo for dinner tomorrow night. I'll puree some in the blender, mix it with some nic juice and send it your way.

I love KBV juice. Their Fiddle Faddle is my absolute favorite vape and I'm also hooked on V-spot and OMG. I just got my first bottle of Skipping Stones. I'm being a good girl and letting it steep, but . . . I did drip a little just to check it out and it was yummy. I have other butterscotch juices from other vendors and I don't care for them. Too chemical tasting. I have high hopes for Skipping Stones.

I love fresh cherries, maraschino cherries, and chocolate covered cherries, but I haven't found a cherry vape I like yet. The ones I have taste like cough syrup. Mrs. T's makes a chocolate covered cherry that is pretty good. I tried it when I first got it, but I should go back and try it again now that it's steeped for a couple of weeks. So many juices, so little time.

Good for you! I've lost weight, too. After vaping sweet stuff, I don't feel a desire or a need to eat sweet stuff.

I'm gonna take your word on that dill pickle juice. That's one I'm not willing to try.

Think about these favorite flavors in your life. Do you consume them as frequently in the day as you vape? I think it might be as simple as that. I was commiserating about this the other day in a thread talking about looking for the best cherry flavor. Flavor is such a unique sense in the body (and yes, taste is a sense, but so is flavor ... we have more than 5 senses). I *love* cheese cake. But do I eat it all the time? Nope. I have a feeling if I did, I would grow to hate it. An even better example, in the evening my hotel's club lounge closes and our breakroom gets the day's leftovers. From the vegetable plate I almost always consume as many of the black olives as I can. I love almost every variant of olive going back to the days I lived in Greece. Do I want a black olive flavored vape? Certainly not as my daily. Would it be fun to try occasionally? It might be, but I get my olive fix out of the real deal.

I'm starting to believe, at least for my well traveled taste buds, that I will never find an "all day vape." I like flavor variety too much.

With regular cigarettes, we didn't have a choice. Most recently it was regular or mint/menthol. I remember back in the early 00s, Camel had their "Exotic Blends" and I bought them every chance I could get. Crema, Izmir Stinger ... I had them all. (I still have some of the metal tins ... they're good for holding some vape accessories now :) ) But I didn't smoke them as my all the time smoke either. I smoked menthol in the end because it was the lessor of the 2 bad flavors to me.

The overall cost of juice for a day's use is still less than most of us paid for cigarettes. You want a different flavor every hour, then go for it. Right now I change up 3 to 4 times a day in flavor. We only stuck with the "flavor" of cigarettes because we had to.

Flavor is one of the most subjective things known to us. I enjoy Killa Vanilla from HC every couple of days. Let a coworker try it today. He couldn't puff on his cigarette fast enough to get the flavor gone.

Heh, sorry for rambling a little, but I think I got the gist of my flavor thoughts out there.

Don't even get me started on there being more than 5 senses. :p

I think you just nailed it.

Was that to me? If so, thanks. :) It's funny, I've been meaning to start a thread with these exact thoughts and couldn't find the right wording to open it. Thanks to OP for giving me a chance to get the thoughts I've been dealing with out. :) I'm by no means any kind of culinary expert, but thanks to my father being USAF, I got a chance to travel the US, and almost all of Europe, so I've been exposed to all kinds of flavors in life. Some I love, some I hate. Tho, if you find a way to make rib eye, medium rare, with just the right amount of charing and that perfect fatty flavoring ... who knows, maybe my views will change. :) Then again, that's a once a month treat I make for myself.

Chicken, it's a meat everyone agrees is healthier than red meats (well most everyone) ... but why do we cook with it a lot? It flavors well. Everyone that eats it has a few favorite recipes they season it up with. Everyone has probably said at least once or twice "I could eat this every day!" Try it some time, and within a week you'll be sick of it. :p
