Grats! While many look down on the Blu e-cigs, I know quite a few folks that do like them and they've stayed smoke free with them. If you get to a point to where you don't think they're helping, you'll find tons of information on ECF that will assist you in staying off cigarettes!

Welcome to ECF!

Hello, I have been smoking since I was 15, now I'm 55. I have changed to the Blue Ecigs and like them very much.
I usually binge smoke, when I feel stressed and have had a drink. I'm here to mingle, and see what everyone else is smoking, what are the safest and best tasting ecigs. Its confusing all the resent news, about Ecigs and hope to find some answers here.
See you all soon:)

To the OP, Congrats on quitting and welcome to the forum. As others have said, you will find the info here to be great! if you should decide to upgrade, do some reading and ask questions. If you stick with blu, I would suggest grabbing some blank 510 cartomizers and trying some different flavors from other venders. welcome again and congrats on your first steps into the ecig world :)

I'm not even insulted, because I have no idea what vape-nerd is talking about?! I guess I have lots to learn. But yah, give this newbie a break!

Ok so you're saying, Blues are not better for you, because they are US made?
I dont know what 510 carts are? And I want to stick to less complicated disposables, any suggestions, since you all are down on Blues?

Ignore the negativity. Use what works for you. If the Blu's are working well and you can afford them, stick with it. There are cheaper alternatives that do work much better, but that day can come after you're more comfortable with vaping and get a better feel for what's out there.

Again, welcome to ECF and vape on!

Alot of people here knock Blu because they are owned by big tobacco and they are not the best ecig out there. That being said, who cares really, because it got you off of analogs. I am one of many on here that started with Blu, it was a good step and I still have it. I use it from time to time when I am mowing or some thing like that because the form factor is easier in a situation like that.

I will try to find the link, but there is a post that explains terms used on the forum, it is a great starting point to understand what folks are talking about :)

Congrats in the transition. I started out with a similar product called Smoke to Live. It was a cig a like as its called in these parts. I quickly transitioned over to a larger battery and a tank system for eliquid. I haven't looked back. 21 days smoke free and would of been a lot more I it weren't for slip ups in the beginning.
Use what works for you!

I got my start with a Blu kit for $60. Worst $60 I ever wasted in my life. To its credit, it got me thinking about vaping until I found much better kits to use. I never used the disposables; They are priced exorbitantly and are an incredible waste of money once you realize, comparatively speaking, how little money it costs to get set up with a worthy kit and some decent juice.

My second kit came from Johnson Creek also for $60. Conversely, one of the best $60 I ever spent.

Now, I'm just a fiend who mixes juices, works at a vape shop, and carries around a Provari with a carto tank, two mech mods with RBA's, and an Ego T-upgrade with an Evod BCC on it.

So... This thing can be as simple or as complicated, as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be. You can be successful in either case.

Thank you Geeve, it would be so helpful to understand the lingo.
Please what is a better disposable, that's made in the USA and is a safe option from real cigs? I had no idea, who made Blues, I was only looking for a safe ecig.

I dont want to mix juices, only have easy access, when I need/want to smoke. I prefer, disposables. And I don't vape daily. But binge vape, when I drink alcohol or am stressed. Any suggestions, would be welcomed!!!

You'll quickly find that disposables are a very expensive way to drain your wallet in a hurry. Rechargeable mods (batteries) with some type of tank system are a more economical way to vape.

If you prefer the "cig-a-like" look, you can look at something like an eRoll. They're rechargeable, and give you that "cig-a-like" feel.
