Thanks all for your help in my previous threads.
My new setup:

RMmhBhX.jpg

Ego twist batteries
Kanger t3 cartomizers
Extra coils
Blueberry and pink starburst flavors

If I run the ego twist at above 3.2 I get too harsh of a hit. Taste is excellent functionality is excellent.

I do however want larger vapor clouds and bigger throat hits. I will typically hold down the button and take one full hit and right afterwards another full hit. Is this damaging to the coil or any part of the e cig to repeatedly 2-3x hit until it auto shuts off?

Second are there are any mods or parts I can buy to create lets say twice the vapor cloud? I like to feel my lungs a bit more full. What do you guys recommend? Anything I can do? Thanks

Also, shout out to e cig city in laguna beach for outstanding customer service and selection/price!!

Thanks
Ryan

First of all, what resistance are your coils? I use the same equipment and 3.2v in never enough power for me, not even with 1.8Ω coils...

What's the nic level and PG/VG ratio of your juices?

2.5 ohm coils. can someone explain what an ohm is and how it relates to my vaping experience? How do I know the ratio of PG/VG on the bottles it only lists ingredients.

i have 24mg nicotine juices. if i go with a lower nic level do i get less of a burning throat sensation? I literally cant run either of these on anything other than 3.2 without burning the .... out of my throat

The more power your PV generates, the more vapor it will produce. Are you familiar with Ohm's Law?

Wattage = Voltage (of your battery) squared divided by Resistance (Ω) of your atomizer. If you're not good at math, don't worry, use this easy calculator:

Online Conversion - Ohm's Law Calculator

The wattage you want, especially at the beginning of your vaping career, should be somewhere between 4.5 and 8.5 Watts. Anything lower than 4.5 may not vaporize your juice properly and will not produce enough warmth and vapor. Anything above 8.5 W increases the risk of burning the filler in your cartos (if you're using them) and even some juices, especially the delicate ones.

Tobaccos, chocolate and coffees require more wattage (heat), while fruit and other delicate flavors do better with less heat.

With a 2.5Ω coil you need to go up at least to 3.8v or so to get good vapor. If you're getting dry. burnt flavor, it means that your wicking is not working very well and not enough juice is getting to the coil--try taking a couple of primer puffs, without activating your battery, to get any air bubbles out of the tank and to force juice onto the heating coil.

And don't chainvape!!!!

Experiment and you'll find your own sweet spot in no time!

Not all vendors print their PG/VG ratio on the bottles--you may call the store tomorrow and ask them, but I suspect that it's either 100% PG (if it's Chinese made) or maybe 80/20--OK, but if you really want vapor, you might prefer a higher VG content, up to 50% VG, or even more.

24% nic is somewhat high--I can't vape it, but it will not cause burnt flavor. Get some lower nic juice, for everyday, all day vaping, 12 and/or 18mg, or get the same flavor in 12 mg and use as is or mix with your higher one as needed.

If your throat burns, definitely get lower nic--and more VG--nicotine is an irritant and it tastes peppery.

Why do you stick to the quantity of vapor? You have already get a good taste and proper hit, then that's good. Not all e-juice is releted to big vapor, meanwhile, while increasing the vapor (say, the atomizing temperature), bad chemical changes are likely to take place. :2cool:

Ahem, bad chemical changes? Do you have something to support this statement? I'm really curious.

If the other good advice doesn't do it for you, have you looked into how to vape, specifically? It's different from smoking a cigarette. Maybe a mod here can point out a link for instructions on how to vape?

My best advice is to try a french inhale. Draw in, but only into your mouth, don't draw with the lungs. Let the vape escape your mouth, then slowly inhale through your nose. The vape cools significantly, and the volume at one time diminishes. After a bit of this, you'll become accustomed to it, and can draw and inhale just like a cigarette. Just gotta retrain the lungs, trust me, they'll get used to being able to do things like ascend a flight of stairs without a huff-and-puff break. (Lung says: ... is that? It looks like smoke, but there's oxygen, too! Hey, and where's the 400 other chemicals, I..I've been cheated! oh God, I'm gonna die...I'm gonna function like a normal lung - that'll teach 'em!)
