ya know what else? my ecig cracles when i hit it. its not exactly a gurgling sound its more like a fire, crackling.

I just bought an Ego C and it really heats up the Iclear 16's. I noticed it right off. But I do get a nice cloud from it. It could be your technique. I always fire mine for about 2 seconds before beginning a nice long slow pull from it. Since you are planning to go over to a B & M, you might want to get a Protank II mini to sit on it. Be sure to get some extra coils too. I'm liking the 2.2 ohm ones right now.
but damn now they are both filled with ejuice from my failed "test". anyway to salvage all that juice?

I like Spazmelda's idea. The new tank I got did not work well with 50/50, I cut it to 60/40 and it works better, the liquid was too thick to wick correctly on the new tank (but this would give a dry taste, may not be the issue). Some liquids tend to muck up or kill the coil faster than others, then again if its working fine with your BF's setup.
hi All! Noob here, obviously, in fact I just started Vaping like, a week ago maybe? My boyfriend bought me the ego twist C battery 650 mAh so its small, which I REALLY like, his spare that I was using at first was huge and was akward for me. he just warned me when i got the small one that its charge wouldnt last as long. attached to it Ive got an iclear 16 clearo but Ive got a glass vision V fate nova coming in the mail so I dont have to worry about Ejuice flavors hurting my clearo.
so I think Ill probably end up being just a simple vaper...probably not going to get into DIY ejuice or buling my own tanks ( theyre called tanks, right? lol)
so anyway heres my Q,
I dont seem to be getting alot of vape...and the higher i turn up the battery (ive got it somehwere around 4 right now) the warmer and warmer my ecig gets....so what can i do diffrently to get more "smoke" without overheating my ecig? or do i truly need to get a bigger stronger battery? or is it my ejuice? .... (and I cant stand a super strong TH so that just wont do either....)

The smaller/bigger battery will only allow you to vape longer or shorter before you have to recharge it. Depending on the juice you use, try a low resistance atomizer or try cleaning it if it needs it. Cleaning video here
Dump the juice into a shot glass, cup, or empty bottle. Anything really.

im sorry this is probably the dumbest Q ever but what is an atomizer? why do i need a low resistance one? what will that do in regards to an ecig?
Its the part with the coil of wire inside it, where the white wicks go into. A lower resistance allows the coil to burn hotter, which burns the juice better. It should help if it is a thicker liquid. You may need to just clean it too.
k-- not 100% sure this is what you ment but i put the wicks (the entire inside) of the other clearo inside the one we are debating if its broke and still not as much vapor as i'd think i should have. also tried the other users suggestion of letting it heat up a bit before inhaling and got nata. so we shall try it with boyfriends battery when he gets home .
just got a text from the BF ( remember hes fairy new to vaping too) he said " i have a low resistanse atomizer you can just crank up the voltage".
now, i have no idea what low resistance atomizer means, and my ecig is already pretty warm when i hit it, so according to what he told me when he bought me the ecig, cranking up the voltage will just make it warmer. *sigh*.
Or, or you could just get a errrrrr.............

When I had this happen it was because I was using a 2.5 ohm iclear with only 4 volts. Once I bumped the volts I got more of a hit. You might not have that option so as others said look for a 1.5 ish ohm replacement coli for your tank.
