So, it's been awhile since I've been on the forum.....
I was making similar design / spec mods from wood- but thought about making a smaller 'stealth' mod from plastic that allows for thinner walls / smaller overall size).
Finally succeeded:

Plastic box: 3.0" x 1.5" x 0.75"
I use a TI PTN04050 chip (4.8 volts- no load: about 4.2 volts under load)
14500 AW battery (has to be a high drain batt)
5 amp switch (anything less dies in 2 months)
510 connector- OPEN HOLE (draw is plentiful and very light / easy, vapor is massive!!)
2.5 ml tank with a
(my personal preference) a 2.0 Boge carto.

I get about 4-5 hours of pretty constant vaping per battery.
Easily concealed in your hand (if necessary)- very pocket friendly.

Box mods aren't usually my bag, but I respect your work mate.
Are you saying that chip is boosting and regulating your voltage?
How would it fare on sub 1.0 Ohm genesis coils?
And where can you buy chips like that, and how is it wired in?
Sorry for all the questions, but you have me intrigued :)

The PTN04050C is a 4-pin boost-voltage regulator product.

Not sure on this one. Maybe check the datasheet here. They also show a very simple wiring diagram.

As far as buying... Search your local websites that deal in electronics, hobby shops, etc. Or go the "fleebay" way.
Breaktru shows a diagram of a setup with that exact chip here
