My boyfriend turned me on to vaping shortly after we started dating. I had heard a bit about it, especially the coffee flavors, but never really researched it. Multiple madvapes purchases later, we've discovered the amazing flavor and vape that a CE2 produces(and Irish Mintz). The issue is he mainly carries his ecig in his pocket. For obvious reasons, this makes using one impossible. Is there anything he can use that's sturdy enough to survive living as a pocket gnome without getting juice all over him? We've tried getting him multiple kinds of the cartomizers with the poly hoping they would be able to give him the same vape but with the needed strength. It's just not the same. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I've been reading reviews on the forum for a while but I finally figured I'd join up and join in the conversations. :)

Welcome to ECF VooDoo.

I tend to use cartos with filler for that reason : Boge LR cartos, Clear dual coil cartos, and bloog cartos. I also use clear CE2s sometimes (clearomizer/fluxomizer). But i tend not to carry them around. I imagine that people have a fix for the leaking (and hopefully someone who does will be along shortly. You might also check out tank mods, or egoT (type B) attomizers.

I used CE2's on an eGo battery, I did pocket it a bit, but I always made sure the eGo cone was on. I guess that gave it more support and avoided the problems you're fighting.

Only issue I had was that the CE2 is a bit larger diameter, and was so tight on the CE2 that I couldn't draw on it. My solution was a 1/4" drive, 7/32 socket. It has a tapered part on it that I put down into the cone and tapped VERY GENTLY until I had spread the mouth of the cone just enough to slip over the carto and allow good airflow.

You didn't mention what battery you are using, or if you did, an all nighter with a paint roller in my hand has taken its' toll, so I thought I would toss this out there.

Thank you for the help!

I forgot to mention battery type. We're both using eGo-T 1000mAh. Put in an order for him last night. We'll see how it goes. We also looked, but didn't purchase due to the severely gray reaction, at the eGo-w. The overall build looks like it would hold up better to what he needs but again, the durability and functionality of the cart itself seems disheartening. He doesn't like broadcasting the fact that he has an ecig and the top makes it look more like an inconspicuous pen. One giant plus for it.

Thank you again. :) You guys rock.

Yes - KR808D-1 manuals (see SmokelessImage) with their cartomizers (or the Bloogplanet or Halocigs ones). Nice horizontal coil cartos, less likely to leak than other KR8 cartos IMO. Super-sturdy with metal carto screwed onto the battery. The partially recessed tiny button of the manuals would be almost impossible to accidentally press in a pocket.

I pocket these a lot.

Of course any overfilled carto can leak a drop. these are stuffing cartos. I do not force-fill or overfill, I clean the carto up well after adding juice (tilt open end down and puff into threaded end while touching soft tissue to the stuffing - that will really help prevent leaks. I recommend thin clear juices, PG with 20% or less VG.

Of course anything can leak. A stuffing carto is unlikely to leak much. But body heat can loosen the juice and make it flow more easily. I would not keep an ecig in the pocket of white shirt, etc. I also use very light colored juices (mainly to avoid flavoring sediment which can clog cartos and attys).
