Low maintenance atty or carto combo?

Hello everyone, I just ordered a couple of minis, one for me and one for my father in law. ( I think, I never did get a confirmation from rob)

Anyway, I'm trying to finid the lowest maintenance combo of atty/carto I can for my father in law. I'm looking for one that won't flood easily, and will hopefully last approx a month of med vaping (he smoked about 1.5 packs a day) I'm looking at these for him. Any other suggestions?

Well I'm not a real fan of cartos. But I will say if you drill out the little air holes by the threads the atty's will need a lot less cleaning maintenance. I genereally use lr306 attys and or lr510's. I personally find them to be easiest. Once FIL figures out squonking he should find no probs with flooding a blind squonk is my tecnique.

Your right about cartomizers having lower maintenance and also, the ease of use. It's hard to flood the carto on the REO and doesn't require you to constantly squonk (push the bottle) every 5 hits. It might last a month if it's properly cleaned but most often. Their lifespan is about a week or so. Overall, it's better to buy in bulk. So, if it either stops working or is getting clogged. Then all he has to do is toss it out. Put a new one on there. Drip 25 drops into the carto. Wait for 20 minutes and he's good to go. After that, after 10 hits or so. Just squonk it and he's good to go.

Must add that carto's are the easiest to use setup with the REO

I wouldn't suggest the 306 you picked. They won't perform to well compared to higher end 306 atty such as the cisco:

LR306 Low Resistance Atomizer 1.5 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper

Not sure if they are willing to send it to Asia or not. Have you considered joye 510's or 306's before or maybe EM 510's. They perform pretty well after you blow out all the primer and take out the wick. Which will take out that nasty taste that primer usually gives.

The cartomizer you are looking at is a good choice. With the 2.0 Ω it should work well.

The LR 306 1.7 Ω is a steeper learning curve. The brand is not listed, so I can't say anything else about them. I use the Joye LR 306 and really like them. I buy them bulk here: BULK 901 801 Joye 510 and 306 atomizers

Great thanks guys, I'm not to worried about shipping, since I'm in the military my mail goes APO, it seems like the ecig community retailers support us military types pretty well by shipping apo (wish other retailers would).

I have ordered a variety of different atomizers from madvapes and alien visions, along with juice from johnson's creek (tenn cured) and alien visions bob bounty and some samplers. I'm not to worried about maintenance for myself as i think I'm turning this into a hobby anyway. I'll have to check out the crystal clear vapors for the mass purchase if I end up liking the cartos.

I did do a dumbass and got ultra fire Protected 14500 Battery, 900 mAH and, TrustFire TR-001 Lithium Ion Battery Charger, when I should have gotten the safe chem ones... Oh well I ordered 6 of them so if they die on me I have plenty of spares. I also have my ego setup as a backup in case the reo doesn't work well with the bats or cartos.

You definitely need the AW IMR batteries, especially on the Mini. They are the ONLY 14500 sized batteries with sufficient capacity to safely and efficiently power a LR atty or carto.
