Just got out of Atty/Carto Jail

Wow, that was nasty. Will be 2 weeks tomorrow that I got my mini. I had one 1.5Ωatty that fried after about 5 days of awsome vaping. No cash to re-load with some new ones. I've been choking down the vape with some 2.8Ω attys and some crappy cartos I bought awile back. It was bad.

I even took the spike and plate out of a couple 510-t attys that metered at 2.4Ω. That was better but still not what i was experiencing prior to the jail time.

So today arrived 10-1.5Ω attys and a handful of Boge 2.0Ω cartos. I'm finally passing out again. Will need to knock down the nic level for sure. Started feeling a bit nicotine odo. Used the 10/10 rule on the atty and seemed to work great. Condom filled the carto but haven't tried yet. I may let that one sit til tomorrow before I try that.

Attys are metering right on the nuts and I've only tested the one carto. I'm pleased so far. Will be interesting to see how long they last.

This mini is one awsome PV. Was looking to mate it with a Grand but they fly off the shelves so fast. Will be better prepared next time not only with the batteries but an appropriate atty or carto. I like the general rule on amps @2 and watts @8 using the Ohms law calculator here. I am pushing it abit with the 1.5Ω but it is so nice.

All are 510's. The attys are joye.

Blow out the primer, put 10 drops of juice in, leave it set for 10 minutes.

same here on the boge 2.0 cartos. They are all I have, and have never used an atomizer. will be ordering some 510s, 306s, and some dual coils to see exactly which I like best, but heck... the grand rocks my vape with 2.0 cartomizers! anxious to try a 306 though. I like that you can fit a spare 306 just above the bottle in the grand, so if they are my fave that would be awesome, although even if they arent... having a spare atty inside your device is awesome, whether or not you like the particular atomizer. Glad you got back to your sweet spot HarryGrowth!

When I put 10 drops in a new 306, the juice just leaks out and fills my catch cup.
Is that what it is supposed to do?

10 Drops in that 306 would be good to maybe prime it but its to many, go with more like 4 and then vape, that juice in the CC should suck right up into the Atty no problem your good to go.

Good question. Mine are all 510's. Maybe a drop came out of the bottom of the atty when I let it sit. Could have even been some of the primer. And actually, this rule may have been intended for use primarily for attys that are shipped without any primer. Hey it seemed to work though. I guess the fact that you're really soaking the wick and the atty as a whole gives it a good starting point. I didn't blow out the 10 drops, I vaped it.

Yes, the 10 drop rule is for attys that are shipped without primer like Cisco and Ikenvape. For the Joye attys, blow out the primer, then drip in 4 or 5 drops and vape.

Some attys come shipped with a primer fluid in the atty. Tastes horible if vaped. I blow it out using the same procedure as blowing out a flooded atty. Not exactly sure why the primer is used since some attys are shipped without.

I've always had luck with about 4-6 drops with primerless attys. Sometimes I need a 7th drop, but usually it starts to flood by then. YMMV.
