I stumbled upon a trick to make them wick better. I bought the tank with a standard res coil, but that wasn't doing it for me. So I got some lower res coils. When I got a good hit the vapor was outstanding. The problem was all the dry hits if I tried to take more than a two second pull, after having to prime aggressively >_>

I suspected that because I was using a mod, and not a lower voltage device, I was simply burning through juice faster than my wick could deliver it to the coil. The gasket sitting on top of the wicks seems to compress them a little bit. That was annoying. I almost tossed all my low res coils until I remembered a trick I used to use with my old, old vape gear with the real old school clearos (you know, the plastic cylinders that were leaky and cracked constantly).

I figured it'd probably leak with a bottom coil, but what did I have to lose? So I took a pair of scissors and made a very small notch on each side of the gasket that sits right on top of the wicks. Bam. Problem solved. More juice is getting to my coil. No dry hits no matter how long of a pull I take. And so far, absolutely no leaking problems shockingly.

If you're having wicking problems, give it a try.
