low res carto's vs. high res carto's

What's the difference between high res carto's and low res carto's, and how do you know what volts to use with certain ohm's?

Wow it's late to answer this question.

Quite simply.
The carto or clearomizer has a wire which heats up and than vaporizes the liquid.
The LR is generally a thinner wire or less of a wire and it takes less Voltage to Make it hot
The HR is fatter or has more wire and it takes more voltage to make it hot.
