Hey guys if this isn't the right spot for this I apologize. Well I normally use my aga-T2 every day but summers right around the corner and I have a pretty physical summer job. Crouching kneeling and well sitting. I was looking to get a Vivi nova as it is leak proof.

My question is have any of you guys tried low ohm vivi nova builds? In my gennys Im around .5-1 ohm. I would probably keep the Vivi around one since I only use mech mods. If you have done them how should i try them? Just stick with the silica?

Thanks for any help guys!

well I think the problem would be your coils' legs getting too hot and burning the rubber grommet in the head. I've heard you can twist the legs to double resistance but I tried rebuilding one vivi normally and couldn't get the mesh to roll correctly. The head worked pretty good for a wick that was kinked a bit. I might try rebuilding a head again with cotton, but I want to get a metal tank first.

i run my vivi nova with 3mm cotton wick with 30awg kanthal aq at 1.3 ohms and it works better than when i was using silica. i also tried with 325 ss mesh going straight across the head tank wall to tank wall, and cut the top silicone grom to not pinch the mesh and for me the cotton wick had better flavor and vapor production. note i use a full mechanical, imo they are better than vv/vw mods hands down. the mesh did have a warmer vape i think cuz with the slot size in the head even when widened stilll wasnt enough to to keep wicking efficiently, i couldn't chain vape on the mesh like i could on the cotton wick.

i haven't had any real leaking from the tank but the coil would get flooded if layed down on its side too long.
