I just ordered two of these and inside the mouth piece that you can remove it's just an empty cartridge. There is no cotton or whatever material that's usually in the cartridge.

Does this mean I need to order real cartidges since these cam with blanks or would I be able to just use cotton from my cotton swabs and fill the cartridge with that and use it?

umm well there are few things you can do....

Simplest is Drip..just remove it put 2-3 drops on it, when it starts to taste "dry" or burnt..and more. Dont "Need" a drip tip to do this but one does make it simpler
or
you can add your own filler(some folks throw the cotton away anyway) PTB or pyramid tea bag buy (Lipton) works really well

Washed polyfill (as in the type used for pillows) is a common filler material for blank cartridges.

P.S. I'm guessing that strawberry liquid on a LR atty is going to taste.. well...... eh...... bleh.

P.P.S. Do you have any older cartridges (from the non-LR atties) that have filler material in them? You can remove the filler, rinse it out, and reuse it.
