Low resistance

Hi
I'm fairly new to rebuildable coils and have a problem!
I have bought some coil wires (pre wound), when I connect them up and test them with no wick they work, then I wick and juice them and they don't work. Just says low resistance! They are definitely the right resistance for my box as I've tried it on both of my boxes (one of which runs down to 0.1) and they work before loading up with wick and juice.
Anybody any ideas?

What coils?

The coils are apparently 0.5 but not certain
Tried on kangertech subox and segelei box

Samsung 18650 2500mAh 3.7v

And what wattage? I wonder if the battery is suspect or the tank/build deck is damaged.

Also, make sure the 510 pin is tight on the tank, as well a the post screws..almost sounds like a short.

So they dry fire fine, but after you wick and wet them, they dont?

I'll check connection, boxes and tank work with off shelf coil fine and have used rba fine with first coil that it came with. This is first time I've changed it

If the coil leg extends past the positive post, it will short against the barrel for the evaporation chamber.

Adan, you may well have solved it. Haven't tried yet but when I dry fire it is without metal wick case, remember the legs being to long and having to trim them but they still touched the case when I built it up.
I'll post when I've tried it.

Oh , looks like it's solved, that's where I was going, some part of coil shorting out inside
