Since analogs normally raise your blood pressure, i decided to see if e-cigs had the same effect.

I measured my blood pressure at a rite-aid pharmacy, after i had not been vaping for a few hours, went outside (still not comfortable vaping in stores) took about 15 puffs on my e-cig, went back in side...

Starting blood pressure:

129/87

after vaping

121/81

Wth! is this even possible? or am i a freak of nature or something?

Anyone's BP can very this much, even taken within a minute or so or each other plus those digital machines are not perfect either. To determine if e-cigs has changed your BP, you need average reading from before & then average reading after you started, all these taken over time.

In a house.
I've already said in more than one post (i'm not going to search for them) what my Doctor's reaction was and i saw him again last week and my blood pressure levels are now lower than they have ever been in all the time i have been seeing him (about nine years).
He has cut my medication down by 4mg a day because i don't need as much as i was taking now, and he's very happy i have stopped smoking. He's seen and examined my Penstyle and we have discussed it and he say's there is nothing in my Blood Samples or Urine Samples that give him any cause for alarm and if there were he would tell me to stop. He said to "keep on doing what your doing because it's far better than Smoking"
I was just thinking today that the only evidence we could give Authorities about the healthier alternative of Vaping was "anecdotal".
Would someones Medical Records which show a marked improvement of their Medical Condition after 9 months of Vaping be taken more seriously?

Keep in mind that *resting* heart rate is what we typically want to measure, and blood pressure also can typically vary +10 easily in a short period of time for reasons unbeknownst to us.

Moreover, if you're addicted to nicotine, most likely you're relatively more tense before getting your dose of nicotine than when you are afterwords.

Lots of things play into effect. I'm not ruling it out. Just playing devil's adv. ;]

Ok, so nicotine technically constricts blood vessels, so therefore you would think that it would RAISE blood pressure. However, it also relaxes a person and creats a small bit of euphoria and actually seems to lower blood pressure. My husband had a drop in blood pressure when he first started, to the point it was making him dizzy...his systolic was dropping at a pace that was way lower than what he was used to, and when he would get up he felt a little funkay...we used a monitor and determined that it had dropped. So, it's trivial, it can raise and it can lower...just depends on the person and probably how much you have been accustomed to the nicotine over the years! This is just IMO.
