lower resistence with larger cartos ?

I got a starter kit and some Refillable-510-Cartomizers-25-ohm.

I was vaping fine but sort of felt larger capacity would be better so that I didn't have to refill all the time. So I bought Clear-eGo-Mega-Dual-Coil-Flat-Tip-Cartomizer which is a 1.6 ohm carto.

I am finding very quickly that the vapor output is much less along with a stronger TH (which I've read is to be expected with lower resistance).

I wish I had the larger capacity but same resistance (2.5 ohms).

My question is, is it a general rule that going larger in cartos lowers the resistance ?

Thanks goodness I didn't pull the trigger on Dual-Coil-510-Tank-Cartomizer which is also 1.6 ohms.

There is no direct tie in. I have 3.2, 3.0, 2.9, 1.6 and 1.5 ohm large carts.

I just got one of these and am having good luck with it (2.5ohm): 510 Clear Repetitious Tank Atomizer [510] - $5.99 : GoodEjuice.com, Cheap Electronic Cigarettes, e-cigarette kits, eJuice and Accessories

This seems to work on my eGo, 3.7v boxmod, 4.6v pass-thru and my 5v boxmod. Not huge though, maybe 1.5ml.

For HUGE I like this: Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer It comes with a 1.6ohm DC cart. I would think drilling a very small hole in the side of a large 3.0 ohm would work fine to convert it to 3.0 ohm. This one looks to be the same size as the one that comes with the tank: https://www.madvapes.com/Smok-Tech-30-OHM-Steel-Dual-Coil-Cartomizer_p_3259.html

I gotta say though that IF your batt can supply enough current (amps) LR should give u both more vapor and TH possibly at the cost of flavor on the more delicate flavors. A cheap 3.7v boxmod using a single 14500 (or two in parallel) should give you 'nuff to handle down to 1.5ohms and generally work up to 3.2 ohms.

It sounds like your batteries aren't made to handle sub 2.0 ohm stuff. I've been told you need 450mAh or larger batts to go under 2.2 ohms. Your mileage may vary.

I find that the eGo dual coil 1.5 ohm cartomizers are GREAT. More throat hit but not harsh. And they hold 5ml of juice. I have to say they provide me with the best vaping experience I have found so far. Also the taste is not bad.

I also drip with my 510 atties, I have regular 510 cartos that I use now and then, and I have recently started using Fluxomizers which I really like as well (great taste). But, then dual coil comes closest to what I experienced when smoking. IMHO ;)

I use my eGo batteries when on the run and have a few mods for use at home including my fav, the Provari. If I want to stealth vape, I take my 510 batteries and PCC with me when I am out and about.
