if you want to go by numbers the above poster is correct, yet the MVP preforms to it's optimal level with an rda between 1.5 to 2.1 ohms with 30 to 32 gauge wire.
imo 28 gauge and lower will not have time to heat properly before the 10 second cut-off time....i use Nichrome 80 30 gauge on mine and it works well....
there have been some in the MVP owners group that have run there MVP at lower resistance for a period of time and their devices have died an early death.

i know the MVP owners group thread is long but just about every situation has been covered there, you could spend some time reading or just come on over and join in.

Hi I use a kayfun 3.1 es with a 1.5ohm build on my MVP v2 and at around 8w it's working well great flavour and nice vapour production also the battery longevity is fantastic my thought is there's no need to think about how low a coil build you can go with an MVP in my opinion it's about how to enjoy the vape i.e. Flavour and vapour production with great battery performance (amount of time the battery will last between charges). If your looking to build low ohm coils if that's your thing then I would suggest you think about using a different vv/vw device or a mech.

The Mutation X will not give you a good vape on an MVP or any other 11 watt device. It is a cloud chasing atomizer that is really meant for 30 watts or higher. It really won't give you much flavour at 11 watts. IMO the best RDA for an MVP would be one with a reduced chamber that lets you run in single coil like a Veritas.

i've tried many different RDA's on the MVP and this smaller one has been preforming very nice, it even has a spring loaded pin.

extra info,
Dream BT801-1

on the final review they gave this one a Fail, but don't believe everything you read, once you get the rite build this atty rocks......on the airflow i just screw the top almost all the way down and line up the air-holes in front of the coil and ShaZam!

Yeah... you need something small... well not need.. but I wouldn't get anything too crazy..I loved kayfuns and my AGI on mine...

But smaller will be better for the power you have...

Nice dripper selection sando7- I love blue swiss..one of the "bear's" methods.:)

Check out the bt dream atomizer. . It's a tank like the kayfun... but easy to build with.. you trap the wires down with pins.. not screws. I posted about it in a thread called "kayfun mini clone? Does it exist?" Maybe wording is different.. can't find pictures, and I gave it to a friend to use with spinners..I wish I had that last year... kayfun lite is kinda huge on mvp.

Kayfun, Magma and Veritas are good choices for the MVP as they don't need a lot of power to provide an good vape. Many are designed with more powerful devices in mind. Small or reduced chamber with adjustable airflow RBAs will likely be your best bet and I'd recommend 30ga wire as 28 will likely get you to low in ohms and take to long to heat up.

I'd also recommend 1.5 ohm builds or higher, yes it will fire down to 1 or maybe slightly below but it's not made for that, you'll be reducing the overall lifespan of the components and battery as well as not being able to get the max power wattage out of it.

Agreed , works very well although with the Kayfun i like 9.5 - 10 watts .

Dead on , Veritas and Magma work great.

I thought i had wrote the above one because it's exactly what i would say , great post.
