LR Atties How Much Better

LR atties are what kept me from going back to analogs. Much better throat hit and flavor.
However, I don't think they will work with stock 510 battries...

LR's are a world of difference. Much more vapor & TH. Do not use them on standard 510 batteries.
Can't say it won't work.
But, those megas are 280mAh, LR atties need 650mAh.

I was just posting in another thread that I was looking at this for my self, it really does work at 5volt.

Everything I've read says that you need an eGo if you're going to use an LR atty. Using an LR atty on the 510 will ruin the battery.
I don't think using an LR atomizer on a standard 510 battery in and of itself is bad. I think the problem is that you would end up recharging the battery every two hits as the LR atties will drain it pretty quick.
eGo is they way to go. You can use it on the 510 mega but it will drain the battery quickly.
Depends on what's important to you and what you want to spend for that. Do you care what it looks like? Do you want the flexibility of maybe going up to higher voltage? Do you have particular materials you want it made out of?
I just want the best flavor, vapor, and battery life. Also I want to be at 5v. And not spend a ton of money.
Low Resistance. They let the current flow faster, which translates to a hotter atomizer. This produces more and warmer vapor.
As others have mentioned, the downside is the increased electrical flow drains batteries much faster (and could kill batteries that are not designed to be drained at such a rate (though like everything else, the jury seems out on just what "kill" means in this case - batteries losing a little charge potential, batteries not functioning at all, nuclear winter - nobody seems sure.)
I think that it heats up the Coil faster then your the normal Atomizers. So I think with the Low Resistance it seems like 5v.
Take a look at the Hello016 Batt. Big brother to the ego and a nice price. Runs LR510's and 306's a long time.
A LR atty on an eGo battery is excellent.
They are expensive though. I'm trying out the genuine Joye 510 cartomizers and I feel they give me almost the same hit as the LR atty .
