All I use now are LR510 attys. They heat up faster and burn hotter. They do though use up a battery charge faster - about 30%, and you can't use them on low capacity batteries such as the regular 510 batteries, but they work great on eGO batteries, or mods with large batteries. I bought a bunch of LR attys almost 3 months ago, and haven't lost one yet.....

I've gottten 23 days each from two LR atty's so far. Yes, you can't let them dry out. (Using an eGo with standard battery.)

These are the Eastmall $3 atty's. I got 20 of them to spread out the shipping. At 23 days each, they'll last over a year.

I don't think they drain the battery that much faster simply because you just need a little time to get tons of vapor !

I also used the LR atty's on 510 normal (largest size 510) batteries for about 1 week and they worked fine. But the eGo simply is better. I'm not sure why.

All of my batteries still work fine, but I alternate between about 3 eGo batteries.

I COULD NEVER GO BACK TO A REGULAR ATTY !

I just got and started using a LR atty a few days ago. The "sizzle" that comes of of them is louder than a standard atty. Looking into the atty it glows brighter and lights up way faster than the standard.
I drip with mine and I'm getting lots more....did I say lots more..... vapor than before.

I can also definately tell when its time to redrip now. Toxic taste is really strong. I can continue vaping at that point by taking smaller draws. It almost seems like the vapor is hotter at this point and the smaller inhales offer less heated vapor that doesn't taste bad or burn my throat.
Of course I could be totally off in my assumption.

I would say at the very least is you have an Ego type battery get one and try it. Just clean/burn it out well before use. The ones I got had a lot of primer in it, don't know why.
I just soaked it in a small bowl of water that had been heated in the microwave. Then rinsed and blown out. Then lightly dry burned by pulsing for 1 second, 5-10 pulses total.

One thing about LR attys: beware of the dreaded BURNT ATOMIZER TASTE, because LRs are more susceptable to getting it. If you use carts, keep them topped up and allow for more wicking time between drags.

That said, now I only use LR attys on eGos and 3.7 volt mods. Standard atomizers are just weak in comparison... I have to use these at higher voltage in order to get decent vapor production.

i tried heaven-gifts LR 510 and it tasted burnt within a few uses. Reminded me of why i gave up on 510 atomizers in general.

decided to try again with Ikenvapes LR 901 LR Low Resistance atomizer i'm in heaven with this thing! haven't enjoyed a spectacular vape in ages.

i used it with 901 auto and KR 808 manual batteries. Worked fine. the batteries actually lasted longer because i wasn't hitting it so fast. Got such a good hit i was good to go for awhile. i'm using it on a P18 now and after 2 weeks of steady use, it's vapes like new. I just drip as needed.

if you have some older batteries, just use them with a LR. it won't hurt them.
