Can I use a LR Boge Carto (in a J-tank) on an eGo 650mAh? Seems fine now but will I damage the eGo or carto?

Yes. Boge LR cartos are 2.0-2.4Ω, which is perfectly fine resistance for an eGo battery. Actually, it's a recommended resistance for a 3.3v eGo.
Just bear in mind that your tank is 510 and not eGo threaded, and it's larger in diameter than the battery. You may want to get an eGo sleeve to cover the threads and to help support the weight of the tank--the sleeve is not necessary, but I think it's nice. Sleeves come in several shapes and sizes, choose one that's recommended for the size of your tank.

I use a Boge F16 carto tank and they arrive with LR cartos. I also buy the F16 cartos, they are LR as well.
