I've heard LRs drain batteries. I just received a new 650mah eGo from www.vapeBIG.com and am wondering if it will drain the battery significantly? Also, should I buy the mega cartomizers? And, what is the benefits of a "cone"? And lastly, who has the best prices/fastest shipping (in your opinion) on cartomizers such as these? Fast responses would be greatly appreciated, as I need to place an order ASAP!! Thanks!

I use LR Carto's on my eGo and I love them. You get much better vapor and taste, IMO, then regular carto's. I use 4 eGo batteries so I don't really notice the accelerated drain.
I'm not a huge fan of the Mega Carto's. They're a pain to fill up and once you use a LR carto, you won't want to go back to using regular carto's.
I like using the cone, it makes the draw tighter and warmer. ALso, your eGo looks better with it on.
My favorite place to roder from is LiteCigUSA. They ship super fast and only charge $2.00.

In my opinion, the cone is only for looks. It also helps to prevent leaking when dripping and can cause harder draws when screwed onto the battery. It serves no useful purpose to me, so I rarely use a cone. It simply covers the threads in the middle of the PV and is not a required part. I returned the two I bought, because I didn't like the harder draws and the extra hassle screwing them on.
The cone can be used when using cartos and when you drip.

LRs use more electricity per second, that's why they are LR. So sure, it will drain it faster. That's not the real problem though. 650 mAh batteries have enough capacity to last a while... the problem with LR is the stress it puts on the electronic components in the eGo (the MOSFET/button-circuit). They can fail prematurely. Some people love the combo though. Try different atty ohms. Ohm ratings in the lower 2's may still work well for you but not stress the eGo as much.
The "Cone" - smooths the look, warms the vape and changes the draw a little. Most can take it or leave it.
IDK about carto prices/shipping.

I wanted to show the OP how they look without the cone -- and to show the different lengths of the batteries. Yup, I had an obsessive moment with the camera and then with Paint Shop Pro to reduce the pic to get the exact lengths, except the 1300 and the two 1000 batteries are a tad longer in the picture than in real life. The other four are close to being exactly the same lengths.

No, they all have the same flavor. When I want to test different or new flavors, I'll use an atomizer and drip tip. But I like the mixture (listed in my signature) well enough, so I rarely vape anything else - and don't plan on buying any new liquids in the near future. I have several liquids I bought in the first month of vaping that are in the closet that I may not ever use.

So, on the 2nd and 3rd cig, do you have some sort of extender between the battery and your cartomizer? Also, do you use drip tips on your cartomizers? If so, what is the benefits?
Yes, the 2nd and 3rd PVs have adapters on them between the battery threads and the cartomizers. They are 510-battery to 808/901-atomizer adapters from goodprophets.com (99 cents each), so that I can use the KR808D-1 cartomizers (which I found I like better because they produce more flavor and vapor than the Boge 510 cartomizers).
Yes, there are drip tips on all of the cartomizers in the picture. Four of the drip tips are the metal tapered drip tips from goodprophets.com (99 cents each) and the other two are the stainless steel drip tips from litecigusa.net for $7.95 each. I use drip tips on the cartomizers only as mouthpieces, so I'm not sucking on the end of the cartomizers with the soft white caps. I don't use them to drip, but they're more comfortable in my mouth -- and I no longer have to remove and replace the white soft caps at the mouth ends of cartos.
I posted about this in the blog I created earlier today, when I decided to post this picture showing the different lengths for the different eGo sizes. That blog is accessible over at the left under my avatar, if anyone's interested.
The only good use for the cones are if you want to mark your cartos..the cone covers whatever you write on them. (Grimmgreen tip)

I started dripping only (no more nasty cartomizers!) back in mid-January and that's when I started using cones all the time. They keep the juice (that tends to leak out of the atomizers) off from my fingers. Plus the PV looks better with the cone.
