smokeforpennys has them

All I see on there is the V1.5 but I'm not sure about version numbers..I read awhile ago the newest version with the higher amp limit and improved display would be coming around at the end of May..I see the 1.5V has the improved display and says higher amp limit but I'm not 100% sure on the amp limit being higher. I think by the end of May or so you will see chrome and other metal finishes with the eGo connector plus improved amp limit and display. I believe the chrome ones we are seeing now are the same display and electronics as the V1...

Yeah, the V 1.5's have the higher amp limit. AFAIK, the chrome ones are the V1s.

Vaporalley.com has the V 1.5 full kit w/2 batteries for $69. I don't know anywhere that has the V2 yet. I'm not even 100% sure there is such a thing in the works.

Yeah I read the "V2" would be coming at the end of May..chrome (probably other finishes too) with updated electronics. But I also read the "V1.5" would only be an improved screen. IDK about these version numbers though because another thing I read is there would be V2 and V3 but no V1.5. These vendors can call it anything they want.

I'm a bit specious of the V1.5 having a 3.2a limit as some claim because others selling them are not saying anything about the amp limit. My problem is the manufacturer of these devices isn't providing any kind of real spec sheet and they should..who knows though maybe the "V2" will have an even higher limit in a chrome tube..there is some room to move the limit up with these batteries for sure. I also have no doubt there will be a another version or a chrome one with updated electronics...

Have you seen the "Lambo" edition at vaporalley.com? It's one helluva tube and I love the center post arrangement, but I'm not sure what electronics it uses. For $99, I would hope it has the increased amp rating, but there's no telling.

I can see a year from now, LT owners will be like Silver Bullet owners. Twenty different versions of the same model PV. lol.

This is why I'm waiting to buy another "LT" at the moment until it's all sorted out..unless I see a smoking (or should I say vaping deal lol) deal where I won't care what version.

A year from now there will probably a bunch of different VV APV's competing and that will be good for consumers..I think the LT will probably have a "newest" version in a few months that will be "more perfect" and the others will sell at a steep discount probably :)

I'm in the same boat. I have one Lavatube in black but I want a second one, in Chrome, as my main unit or backup if the black one bites the dust and has to go to the "Lavatube Hospital", i.e. be sent in for repair/replacement. I don't want to be without a LT and I'm not ready to invest in a Provari, so I'm waiting anxiously to see when the V2 will come out..... :)
