Guess I will call them today then.

Joeh, posted before I could reply.

I would call your CC people today. If he is openly admitting to Bankruptcy I would call sooner than later. Although I am pretty sure your CC company will make it good regardless.

I would hate like He11 to be in Chris's shoes. He has burned this bridge and any he hoped to build in the future.

PS - Mz Kelly my Aloha Punch is sitting in my mail box so you will get an update before the day is out. :)

This was just posted on Facebook by Lucky 7:

"Looks like we will not be opening back up. We are having to file bankruptcy with the company. We are issuing refunds to those who have been waiting, you may want to call your credit card companies/banks to speed up the process as our credit card company is slow at processing refunds and it takes up to 7 business days normally. Sorry everyone..."

Oops - sorry, didn't see this has already been posted.

Moving on..... (Hey Robin !)

Just a suggestion ...I'm not affiliated with these guys....but great customer service, great flavors and great prices!! (100ml for $18).....shipping is a flat $10 regardless of how much you order, and you can also order smaller sample bottles. http://www.yaeliq.com

No issues! And the company and the owner stay very interactive with their customers that they refer to as "family" on their FB page. I'm placing another order for 500ml tonight...

Only time shipping may be slow is during some Jewish Holidays. And no orders are processed Friday evening thru Saturday evening.

Has anyone gotten an order recently? I am #5715 from May 5th, still waiting (mine said awaiting shipment before the site went down) Hoping my 120 ml Grape candy is in a box ready to ship, really don't want a refund, especially since this will be my last bottle now that they are filing bankruptcy!

I am putting this out there for all of the customers waiting for money back...

Do not wait for your product. Do not wait for a refund. Make an effort to request a refund and then when you don't get a reply, because you won't, file a complaint with your credit card company. If Lucky 7 goes bankrupt there will be no refunds, or product shipped once the papers are filed. Once a bankruptcy is started essentially all in and out flowing of money is stopped. You will become a creditor and will get paid only after a judge orders Lucky 7 to pay you. Do you think a bankruptcy judge is going to issue a couple hundred of orders as refund requests come in? No, not gonna happen. File a dispute with your bank or card company, they will most likely credit you. This way Lucky 7 only has a few creditors (i.e. Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, etc) and not hundreds. Plus you are guaranteed to get something back. Once he files, your chances of a refund are near zero.

I do think it is a bit suspicious he is saying to wait a week for a refund. To me it sounds like he started the process to file (probably a few weeks ago) and he knows that once it's filed with the courts he may not be liable for all of the refunds. Plus, if he had enough money in the bank to issue refunds he wouldn't be shutting the company down. Lets say he has gotten 100 orders in the last month (he has more I am sure, but I like easy math), and each order was $20 dollars. He took in $2000, now subtract the one order he did ship (20) and then some payroll for his one remaining guy (100), then utilities (30), then the lease which he still holds until a new company comes in (100). He is down to $1750, $250 worth of orders will not be refunded, don't be that last guy to not get anything back.

This whole thing confirms my suspicions since the first order debacle with this guy. He makes decent liquid, and is priced decently. But he obviously doesn't care about his customers enough to not jerk us around. "Wait a week for your refund", no Lucky 7, go screw yourself.

I'd rather stick with US companies and not risk what I might be getting with something made in another country.

Buying from the US doesn't protect you either. What do you expect that buying domestically protects you from? There was a post yesterday from a guy who walked into the back of a juice company to talk to the owner, and the guy was sweating in a wife beater, just willy nilly mixing and not cleaning his equipment. You'd rather buy from that guy?
