Hello, so about a month ago I had a terrible experience with e cigarette, I have used it before, but I did not liked it and stayed with normal cigarettes, but a month ago I have used ecig for a day, everything was fine until I decided to try it out on maximum power which was 60w, after a quite big pull, I experienced a feeling like I just have a eaten a flaming hot charcoal which almost made me throw up. It might be because the OCC has been bit burnt before, and the ejuice has been opened few months ago and not used, still the best before date was ok.
Right the next day, I have experienced like a lump in my throat, I didn't do anything as I have heard it might be because of the stress, and I was in quite big stress due to that I have moved living location as,well as started new uni.
But for 2 weeks I had this lump thing going on, then suddenly it went away and a sore throat came in, which lasted for 2 weeks, and now the sore throat gone and I got a lump again and also a feeling that my neck is swollen when actually its not.
I have been taking different medicine but it did nothing. I had gone to the doctor, he said its an infection and I should gargle mouth with aspirin, but it doesn't seem like its helping.

Maybe someone of you had experienced something similar and can help me.

I have been smoking normal cigarettes for the whole time. Some of the symptoms include,
Flu like symptoms that don't last long
Tiredness
Dizziness
Few days I had a feeling that my whole throat was on fire
Might be difficult in breathing but that might just be me making things up.

I had those symptoms before I started vaping. Initially dual use made the sensation worse, but it decreased to less than smoking as I smoked less. So I don't think this is the result of normal vaping and continuing to smoke can't be helping.

A burnt or dry hit can be terrible enough to be damaging, or it sure feels like it at the time. Plus using a lot of power can produce a lot of heat.

Did your doctor sat whether the infection is bacterial or viral? A viral takes much longer for your body to get rid of and no antibiotics will help at all. Sometimes a serious sinus infection can feel like the flu and last for weeks. The swollen feeling in your neck sounds like it could be slightly swollen gland(s), normal with a sinus infection. That lump in your throat is not abnormal with a sinus infection. The dizziness, swelling in your ears, again a sinus infection can cause that. The difficulty breathing could be anxiety from worrying about the problem on top of other stresses.
Smoking will only exasberate the symptoms as your body is fighting off the infection AND the harm smoking is doing to your respiratory system.
Anti inflammatory med over the counter meds, such as aspirin,Aleve,Motrin (or their generics) should help with the swelling in your ears and throat but time and relaxing are your best bets along with extra rest and a healthy diet. If you're into energy drinks, cut way back on them for a bit so your body can fight the infection better.
I'm not a doctor, just giving you what works for me. Last winter I burned down from work and lack of sleep and got the sickest I've been in decades. It took me about a month for feel better than an old dog turd , about 2 months to get back to normal. It was a viral sinus infection.

I don't know how much you smoke as you vape. Smoking and vaping at 60w seems pretty harsh to me. Also, these symtom overlap smoking cessation... I won't recommend doing both. Stop smoking and vape safely may help quite a bit. Everything is in the moderation...

Most likely I somehow got the sinus infection, I stopped smoking and a week ago it seems to be helping, all the symptons pretty much are gone.

I used to vape, I have stopped at the start of the summer and september 15 was the last day I smoked, I prefer normal cigarretes. After that last smoke all the things appeared

That's pretty high powered vaping. Do you have the same symptoms at 20 watts? Do you vape custards?
    I do not vape anymore
