Some other things that affect lung hit, besides higher nic or PG levels:
-vapor amount: anything that helps produce more vapor will give you more hit - variable wattage or variable voltage devices paired with low-resistance single coil or dual coil tanks/atomizers will produce more vapor and hit
-vapor-to-air ratio: this is harder to control on automatic devices. Manual devices will create the same amount of vapor regardless of how much air you are drawing, so if you draw more slowly, you get a higher vapor-to-air ratio and better hit. Auto devices can give more airy hits, and all devices/toppers have different air flow amounts
-flavor type - some flavors inherently have more hit than others, cinnamon or spicy flavors as well as menthol flavors generally have more hit than something like a lightly sweet flavor, there are so many flavors out there, all with varying effects on hit
When I first started vaping, I vaped 100% vg - 24mg nic juice. The higher nic made up for the fact that vg has less throat hit than pg. I've gradually lowered my nicotine amount over the past 2 years (now vaping 6mg nic), and have found that I've had to use juices with certain flavors and higher PG ratio to achieve the hit I'm looking for. Today I'm vaping a cinnamon flavor, 80pg/20vg, 6mg nic juice, on a variable wattage device using a low-resistance dual-coil tank, and the hit is just as good as with the cigarettes I quit 2 years ago, and it tastes much better
