Yes, over nic'ing. I did it a couple of times very early on because I wasn't sure I was getting my fix for nicotine. Someone told me to slow down and just vape when my body gave me the urge. And, then, only about 4-05 draws. If I did it more than once every half hour, then go up in nic. If I did it less that once each full hour, then go down in nic. He said that I should look for the urge in the 45 minute area.
I just kinda learned that if I wanted to vape a lot while just relaxing, don't inhale as strongly or get some lower nic juice. That was a good excuse to tell my wife that I needed multiple toppers.
