I've been visiting this forum for a few months now but haven't yet posted. I didn't realize there was a process to complete to ask a question, so here I am introducing myself.
I live in California and have been an on again off again analog cigarette smoker since junior high school. I was not smoking when we discovered e-cigarettes, but my partner was still using Nicorette and Nicoderm to stay off the analog cigs.
We had relatives in Europe who had tried them, but we first bought our own when we saw a sign in the window of 7-11 offering Xhale e-cigarettes. They offered inexpensive start up kits, so we bought a few and tried them. Because they don't carry most of the health risks associated with analog cigarettes, I decided to try them too. We liked them right away but found Xhale's claims of how long the cigarette equipment lasted and how many drags one can get from a cartridge with such a teeny receptacle utterly false.
We began researching ecigs online and found this forum right away. The internet is choked with sellers who don't provide enough information to make wise choices, and I found this forum to be very educational.
We now use Joye 510 ecigs ordered from a distributor in China and like them very much. We have found several good ejuice sellers and fill our own cartridges, making this hobby far less expensive than the Xhale system which was itself far more expensive than analog cigarettes.
I discovered the tea bag fabric and fish filter foam cartridge filler material information here and found it to be helpful. We are looking at cartomizers now as people seem to think they are quite reliable and consistent, but they seem to raise the price substantially.
That's my intro story. Thanks to all for this forum, and for providing a great way to learn about ecigs, e-juice, suppliers, methods, and related issues.
