Hello everyone. I made this account awhile ago and just now got around to making my introduction thread. Im KingOhms, Im addicted to sub-ohm dripping. Right now im running the craving vapor HexOhm v2 with a congrevape Doge v2. While I have your attention at this moment, does anyone have any input on the following two topics: Decent Sub-ohm tanks and any revelation concerning wickless devices that may be happening? I don't fear cotton, I fear flavorings, but I hate dry burn hits.

I don't know of any wickless devices at the moment. I've seen some attempts at wickless builds, but usually they don't work so great, and the dry hits are that much more uncomfortable (because it's just heat from the wire, at least before you get a dry cottony hit you can sense the flavor is dissipating).

I like the SubTank Mini (having the ability to rebuild is very nice, and the stock coils are holding up really well), but I've been hearing great things about the Herakles and Starre tank.

Hello, K.O. Welcome
I did the same, made n account last year and finally made an intro thread 2 days ago.
Sorry I don't have any input on the 2 you mentioned. I did order a sub ohm tank a few weeks ago for the Silo Beast. Should finally be here next week, got an email yesterday about shipping. Plan on picking up some Vapor Shark ni200 Atlantis coils for it.

Welcome fellow former Lurker.
I have owned a Fogger v4.1 full-copper RTA for over a year now and usually run it at around .5 ohm
It stays mated to the Copper Slug Mod I use as my Bedside Rig. Works great as it's not easy to lay back in the Bed and drip while trying to chill to brain-candy Fare on Adult Swim.
Very pleased with it and pleasing to vape.
A tad tedious and time-consuming to build but don't have to mess with it too often so no biggie.

@Susan~S I have researching this since it seems to be the next big thing, or maybe it already is. I have my eyes on a DNA40 or the Snow Wolf 200W Temp Control. the snowwolf can be bought for around $150 USD which is cheaper than most devices I have seen with that amount of power.

@Hitcat44 I will need to take a look at it. That convenience is what I am looking for from a tank. Dripping is great, but I want to get something I can be slightly lazy with and fill every once in awhile.

If you need gobs of power, I could recommend the iPV3-Li since it's 165-watts to begin with and will update to 200-watts. MVS has it for relatively cheap. iPV3-Li V2 165W Temperature Control Mod by Pioneer4you

I personally have the iPV4 and love it. I have no reason to go beyond 150-watts (which a firmware upgrade is supposed to make the iPV4) and Temperature Control is the future of vaping. :)

The best of both those worlds is actually due to come out soon:
