First of all, I will state for the record that I AM a ModernVapor fan-boy, deservedly and unashamed... 
And please be gentle about the fragments, it's my first review....
I got my first PV locally about 6 months ago. It was a generic 'analog look-alike', I was unimpressed. Then went searching around and ordered a M401 from a recommended vendor on-line. I liked the size, but was unimpressed with the quality and capacity of the cart and batt, so quickly began the search for a better choice.
Almost being sucked into the big 'blu' sea, I clicked on the link to ModerVapor here on the ECF, and I haven't looked back.
A SideSho Hybrid, and a 902 later, I ordered my LUX this week with great anticipation. With the 'typical of MV' prompt service, along with a personal call from Tony only minutes after I placed my order to see if I wanted the new red or blue that weren't on the site yet, and my black LUX was in the mail that night. As usual 3 days later (NEVER CHANGE THAT TONY), my baby was in the mail when I got home....
The main batt was already charged and showed green after a couple minutes on the charger, and after a quick warm vinegar bath and warm water rinse of the attys, I've been in vaping heaven.
Even the stock tobacco carts that come with the kit taste good and produce clouds of vapor, and once I switched to my Torque56 with a touch of cherry... OMG is that good. Throat hit is strong, yet the vapor is smoother than even my 902. As Tony told me about his, I simply can't put this thing down (I've sucked 3 carts dry already
), and no torching going on here. Smooth, consistent vapor, every drag.. (I have some FSUSA samples coming tomorrow, can't wait to taste those in the LUX)
I love the fact that only the button lights and the polished chrome end of the batt is a perfect stand when I do set it down on the table (only for a minute.. hehe). The feel is well balanced, even with the large 900mah batt.
Although I don't have any high-voltage mods to compare it too, I am comfortable saying the LUX earns perfect 10's from this semi-experienced vaper... There's really nothing I'd change.
From what I can tell, this is a version of the Riva, but a VERY nice version. Packaging and fit and finish are what I've come to expect from ModernVapor.. nice job Tony.
