Yep, I haven't had difficulty in getting the carto in..I just was wondering what you do so the sharp end of the carto doesn't cut into the o-ring on top. Or, do you push the carto through threaded side from the top?

Wet the oring and/or carto edge with a bit of eliquid, use a gentle twisting motion, applies to the top of the tank too. The twisting helps get the oring to compress a bit, rather than a straight-on shearing.

You can also stick the drip tip in the carto first, and then slide the tank over the drip tip end (if you use the regular tips).

I never did like slapping my mama so I took one of the metal drip tips off the 510 drip tip carto and cut it off, put a groove in the end, installed an oring so it had one on each end and made a Slap yo main squeeze. I originally made it to use a Fusion in a Map tank last yr. but I quit using it for that.
