Hi i am basically a noob to e cigs and decided to purchase a M401 ecig starterkit from litecig Usa while i have been using it on and off over the last month i find that i still go back to analogs hoping to completely kick them eventually. Just wanting to hear other peoples opinions on the m401 while alot of people seem to say the 510 is better. i really like the m401 battery life and its relative ease of use.

Been using the 401 for about 2 months. I really like the taste I get from it and the draw is great, but the battery life leaves alot to be desired. I go through about 4-5 batteries a day. I bought 2 kits and have had 2 batteries die on me in 2 months. The atomizers are great i've killed 2 but those were my fault.
If the battery life was better I would stay with them, but i'm thinking about going to a riva or something similar.

I started with the M401 and still like it for its size and great flavor. When I got a 510, however, I was impressed with the increase in vapor and thraot hit. Battery life, however is a lot shorter than the M401. Mods and eGo batteries took care of that problem and LR atties provided even more throat hit, but now I am even farther away from the small size a great flavor of the M401. Each of these models has its benefits and it just depends on what's right for you.

We may be starting a co-op for these to alleviate the shipping costs. They are sold in packs of 30. Hoping to get the price to $1 each shipped. I am not ordering until the ceramic (new ones) are tried by a few people. Clouds of Vapor should have the 808s and 510s today. I don't know if they are carrying the 401's though.

BTW - In 9 months of rotating several batteries and attys, I haven't lost one!!

Xeons, you can find more info and tips/tricks for getting good use from your 401 in this section of the forum: M-401/402 "Mini" & M403 Super Mini - E-Cigarette Forum It is the perfect atomizer to drip/dip with. The small size makes it handy, but doesn't quite perform as well as other models (IMHO).

It is well worth getting a 510 to try out. It is a great atomizer with volumes of vapor and throat hit, however you won't get much time from the stock battery (one hour) unless you buy the longer Mega battery. Do consider getting the manual button battery style (which are sealed from liquid leaks). An even better (but more expensive) option is the Ego or similar model for longer battery life, however that can be purchased later if you decide you like the vapor of the 510 (which I think you will).

Welcome to ECF!
