I love the PT. It seems to provide better flavor than my batteries. But the cord on it seems to be constantly warm. Even when I'm not using it. Is anyone else using this noticing this too? Just worries me a little. I'll keep it unplugged when I'm afk. But just seems like this shouldn't be.

Warm cord = probably ok.
Hot cord = no good.

UL RoHs and CE have external elctronics temperature ratings at 50-70 degrees celsius. Body temp in 38 degrees Celsius. So electronics
can run warm to th touch safely. That being said if it seems really warm, let's replace it.

Thanks,

Noah

I'd love to hear back from other owners of the same PT. I wouldn't worry about it if all of them are doing it, but if it's just mine, would be a little more curious to find out why :) . Or, if you nice folks have one open you could plug in for a few minutes and see if you get the same symptoms. I mean, no other USB device I plug in gets warm.

::edit::
Just to add, took less than 2 minutes to be warm to the touch, and didn't even plug in an atomizer, for others checking out theirs for me :)

I'd also add, while I've got you in here, the 510 USB charger seems to be doing the same thing as the one in another thread. Just blinks rapidly when I plug a battery in.
Huh, seems to be working fine now. I plugged it into a wall outlet > USB adapter I have, it worked normally, put it in the computer, and it's working now. Not sure if that's what fixed it, but seems to be fine now. :)

Glad to hear!

Please send Tonyinnovapor a PM or email to tonyinnovapor@gmail.com and we will get the PT taken care of for you. If it is still getting warm when not in use, it seems that the source that is powering it is passing current higher then it is rated for. If this source is a typical USB port of a computer, then the cord should not be getting warm.

Thank you again,

Millie
