M4xx series Stainless batteries question

I got a 401 dual hybrid kit (comes with a 401 and 402 batt) from you a few weeks ago and I LOVE it. My 510s are gathering dust in the drawer now.

I want to order another kit (402 dual atty kit) to have an extra parts on hand but I have a question: I got the stainless steel kit last time. The 402 battery was a nice brushed steel but the 401 battery was a very shiny/glossy steel. The shiny one looked great initially but now it's already getting tarnished looking.

If I order the 402 dual kit that comes with 2 batteries will they both be the matte brushed steel? Otherwise I think I'll get black...

hmm they should be the brushed, i know the factory isnt doing much brushed anymore an moving towards the nickel plated as i found out when i got the last shipment an wasnt aware of it as u cant tell through the blue wrapper

So the shiny ones are the nickle plated? Like I said, they really look sweet until it starts looking tarnished. Guess I'll bust out the Tarnex and see if I can get it all shin looking again, maybe give it a coat of clear enamel.

But it won't matter one bit if you put up those m701s before I order- gah, I'd buy that instead in a heartbeat. That pcc looks freaking awesome.

they r on the way here as we speak. hoping next week they are here
