Hey, Sean! I am curious if you have been able to compare the 510LR atomizers to the 601 while vaped on the ego. I have been using some LRs for a couple of months and really like them, but I do have a good stock of the 601 attys, and kind of miss using them (my ultra batteries have been going strong, but since I got an ego the battery life, and need to carry only one battery-and-atty-combo for the day has trumped my 601 kit). Any thoughts on this comparison?

Hi Chris,
Both the 510LR and the M601XL are a step up from a regular 510 atty.
The 510LR has a warmer sensation and slightly more vapour. It has a warmer vapour too but uses the liquid at a faster rate.
The 510LR feels more like vaping at high voltage... but its life span will probably be shorter than a non LR atty.
The M601XL has a bit more flavour. Throat hit for both these models is excellent.
There's a big difference in the carts; the M601XL is much better at wicking all the juice.

Any idea the resistance rating (in ohm's) of the combined 510-->M601 adaptor & M601 atty ?

The M601 atomizer measures at 2.6 ohms. (Not sure what difference the adapter would make, if any...)

This explains a lot .. putting it somewhere between the default 510 and the 901, which is why its giving the best of both worlds. (Flavour, without burning the juice).
