Macaveli vs GP Paps

I am trying to get a new mod and because of that I am caught in a crisis of not knowing which to save up for.
I am decidingbetween a Macaveli and a GP Paps. Please comment with your opinion of these two products so I can try to decide which new mod I am going to buy?????
I already currently have an eVic and nemesis VW clone with my SmokeTech RSST tank. I really want to get a new mod that's not a clone and have seen good reviews but would like to have more input about this topic.

Hello, come by the GP thread in the Euro Suppliers sub-forum. You'll get the straight answer there from people who have owned or do own both. And the supplier won't censor any opinions, he knows he builds quality, and he himself uses mods from other manufacturers.

FWIW, I believe the GP tubes and Macaveli tubes are interchangeable, so some folks will replace the Macaveli switch with a GP switch, which is considered superior. They do this because they want the quality of the GP workmanship, but they like the little ship on their tube.

They then spend some time being ridiculed by those of us who find the ship silly, and we spend some time being ridiculed right back for being shipless and a tad messianic about our dedication to GP. Also, FWIW, I think owners of both are very happy with their devices - proof of this is that they both sell for MSRP in the Classifieds section.

Seriously, come by, it's one of the best places to call home on ECF.

Oh, and there's some Marines there among us, but we don't hold that against them. I don't think any of them are in the pro-little-ship-on-tube faction, because, ha, Navy.

The Mac is a hybrid. That means no choice. It's always going to be a genesis style tank system. It's a nice device. But, you're locked in to a single kind of vape.
The Paps, with its 510 connector, will allow you to use anything with a 510 connection. It is also M20x1 threaded. Giving you the opportunity to use any M20x1 threaded atty in hybrid mode. And there are many.
Dollar for dollar, the paps has to be among the best mechanical tube mods out there. Especially version 2.5. Both standard and Lux models.
