Hello everyone,
Although i have been aware of the existence of e-cigarettes for quite a few years, i never thought much of them.
I imagined they must be some gimmick of sorts and never bothered learning anything about them.
Recently i noticed a colleague at work puffing from an unusually looking device, blowing clouds of what seemed like smoke although it didn't smell, and i got very intrigued by the whole affair.
I asked him to show me the contraption, thinking it must be some sort of e-cig.
He explained to me briefly how it works (he was using a mechanical mod) and that it does the trick at replacing real cigarettes very well.
Hence for the past 2 weeks i read ad nauseam everything i could lay my hands upon about vaping (as i since learned the process is generally known) and as soon as my parcel containing the needed supplies arrives, i'll give it a shot.
After 35 years of cigarette and pipe smoking i am ready to try something new.
I have one question i would like to ask (for now): does anyone know of a e-juce that resembles in flavour MacBaren's 7Seas Regular Blend pipe tobacco?

Best regards!

Forget about finding a juice that "really" mimics any tobacco. I don't think there is one, likely because vaping and smoking are just that different (burning something as opposed to vapor droplets). On the positive side, it doesn't matter, there are so many good vape flavors to choose from you won't miss your old tobacco flavor. Just jump in and enjoy. Don't believe it read through how many people have been successful on just this site alone!

You just cannot get the "same" taste due the the lack of combustion with vaping as opposed to smoking. What you can find is a very satisfying tobacco flavor.
I would highly suggest for you to research those eliquids classified as NET (naturally extracted tobacco). Alot of tobacco flavored liquid is really TINO (tobacco in name only) and are flavored synthetically.
While TINOs can be tasty in their own way, true and satisfying tobacco flavor IMO,comes from NET liquids.
Many vendors extract tobacco to flavor their eliquids, to name just a few:
Goodejuice.com
want2vape
Heather's Heavenly Vapes
Ahlusion
There are more of course, and other members will be along to broaden your choices.
I'm glad you are willing to give vaping a try. Don't be discouraged if you do not find a liquid that immediately appeals to you as finding an all day vape (ADV) is probably one of the more expensive and frustrating aspects of being a beginning vaper.
Good luck and stick with it. It does work.

The "standard" progression is spending quite a bit to find the "perfect" cigarette or cigar or pipe taste, and then realizing that what you really like isn't quite whatever it is you formerly burned. Smoking and vaping are completely different but it's almost a hobby in itself trying different flavors and combinations to discover what pleases you. As many have said, your journey is beginning. Enjoy.

So far so good.
It's been several days since i began vaping.
My first impression inhaling vapor compared to tobacco smoke intrigued me.
I'm not sure what my expectations were but here is what i think some of the differences are:
compared especially to premium pipe tobacco smoke, e-juice vapor doesn't have the complexity of aromas, the subtlety, the richness, the body, it just doesn't have the multitude of ingredients, the polish and the sophistication of smoke. It is quite different but not bad at all.
It could be that it is quite a young product and needs to mature. Tobacco has been around for a while compared to e-juice.
It brings to my mind the difference between an English thoroughbred and a mustang.
I suppose there are e-juices and e-juices, some better than others, just as tobaccos are, and i have a lot to experiment and discover.
Not to forget the diversity of devices to deliver the vapor for which the same applies, some perform better than others.
So, after my first somewhat doubtful attempt, i kept at it and i am beginning to quite liking it.
I suppose it takes some getting used to, like most everything else and i will eventually acquire a taste for it.

You're already on the right train of thought in that nothing will exactly replicate your favourite tobacco flavour. I know of a few people who can't get into vaping because they were expecting it to be just like smoking but without the smoke. It's a different animal altogether. The trick is to find a flavour that you really like whereby you think "I could vape this all day" instead of "it's ok but it's not a patch on tobacco".

Good luck in your search for a flavour that hits the spot, I have a feeling it'll be sooner rather than later.

Hi Andrebandre. You appear to have a good handle on things as far as vaipng is concerned. Now the fun can begin. You should head over to the e-liquid specific section General E-Liquid Discussion and poke around over there. There are many vendors who do their best to provide a liquid that is a faithful reflection of the tobaccos that have inspired the creation of the liquid. There are some really good vendors who do extractions from the actual plants specifically for the correct flavor profiles. Good luck with the search. Enjoy the journey.

What a great bunch you are, guys.
I am almost broke from ordering all sorts of paraphernalia and juices, but so far seens worth it.
If the USPS doesn't screw up I should have some organic NET juices and some other flavors from Ahlusion and Goodjuice early next week. Can hardly wait to try them.
Meanwhile i'll knock myself out reading the ECF subforums and enjoy some pastry and other desserts vape.

Andre as old pipe smokers you and I both know that there is simply nothing in the world as complex, subtle, and satisfying as really fine pipe tobacco. I suggest you sub out vaping for any cigarette smoking you did and very occasionally have a nice bowl of your fave mixture for that particular and inimitable sensation. Get the best of both worlds that way with a harm level far reduced from having cigarette smoking in the equation.
