I know, this was my first off topic post, but I thought there would be others that would like to hear it and I couldn't find it on itunes, but when I found this, I thought I'd share.

I agree with you, I haven't seen anyone as talented as he is on Idol and I have watched since the beginning.

Yes, I wish they could put some kind of a sensor that would be able to tell when a show runs over on DVR's. I don't know anything about electronics though. I get some that cut off just a little too soon for no discernable reason.

Anyway, I also like the red headed girl, but like you said, Adam is just in another class. At least the ones who are in the top few usually do well with their recording careers.

I think Adam is a great singer. But my favorate is Danny. I also like Matt and Anoop. It's past time for the seeing impaired guy to go. Lil should be gone after him.

i think scott is going tonight... even tho fialidol has kris going

DialIdol.com - Measuring the busy signal.

adam has an AWESOME voice.. but im not fond of his "showtunes" style... if he wins.. he's gonna end up the next taylor hicks.. real popular during show.. but afterward dropped from the label for lack of interest

im pulling (get yer mind out the gutter) for little allison ireheta.. at 16 that girls got set of pipes that quite frankly im overjealous of

btw.. is it me or is the talent pool for idol this year abit WAY above expectations?.. i spent the first few competition rounds thinking i got lucky and they put Rock Star back on

I've watched the video enough times that I now can sing along, I know the words to Mad World. ( I am a 52 year old mom of a 28 year old son--I sent HIM the video). He did however buy me the Twilight series of books for Christmas, I had never heard of them. (they turned me back on to reading novels). So, none of us are the stereotypical versions of what is usual. Well, I guess, really that is normal now.

I think Idol is a show that crosses age barriers, but, it is the young teenage girls that do the majority of the voting is my guess. I've never voted--just complained when they got it wrong, lol.

Man, I just can't stand American Idol. I don't think there's anything creative about it and that's what draws me to music. It's like a carbon copy of every other "star" and their voices have the same over-produced vibrato sometimes accompanied by an ear-twisting whine that I absolutely can find no enjoyment in listening to. I wish they'd attempt something innovative.

I agree with you about the creative part.
most of my favorite and creative bands and singers probably wouldnt even do good on the show.
who knows how Ozzy,or Johnny Cash,Kid Rock,Dave Mustaine,Lita Ford,Lemmy or other great singers from all styles of music would do on the show.
the judges and most people watching seem to judge by how popular and common a singer sounds and maybe how technical they sing.
yet if people listened to there favorite bands they might realize that there favorite singers might not do that good on the show.
but here and there theres somthing on the show that sounds creative so i dont hate the show and since i like music i still watch it once in a while.
but again i agree with you about the creative part and think i know what you mean..
i like creative music with feel over popular music that might be technically perfect.

hope that made any sense,, lol
