Hello all,
Let me start by saying that I have never done a review for any product EVER. Ecig related or otherwise. I have never been compelled to do so. I very much dig the current sense of community in the vaping world and hope it always stays this way. It is with great respect and admiration for all us vapors, the ECF and (of course) Metal Madness that I do this review. On with the show...

I had been searching everywhere for my perfect mod. Sturdy, trustworthy, not too cumbersome, all class with just a bit of flash and rebuildable. I wanted something that would work well with all juice types (*note* 100% VG = the bees knees).

After months of lurking, learning and web searching... I was disappointed. Then I found the Temon.

Let me go ahead and get the one negative thing I can find out of the way = My 14650 batteries do not fit perfectly flush in my Temon. Maybe all 4 of my batteries are just not the brand MMV might recommend (I haven't asked them). Whatever, it's barely noticeable or a real problem. I had to try hard to think of something negative! Other than that - keep reading.

build quality = excellent. Steel and Brass. There was a review by igetcha where the button was too stiff. Maybe MMV changed this because mine is perfect and not stiff at all.

size = perfect. Only a bit bigger than my first ego set up. I take the Temon with me everywhere. Turn the locking button, put it in my pocket and I'm good to go.

atomizer/tank = perfect. Minimal leaking if any. The liquid I've noticed could have been from me filling the tank so.. *shrug*. almost not worth mentioning. I wouldn't hold it upside down for long periods of time just in case - just like any other genesis. tank size vs. portability is spot on. Perfect compromise there. Air hole seems perfect. I can't imagine why anyone would want it any smaller or any larger. Wick and fill holes are perfectly sized and placed.

vape = perfect. It's a great genesis device. It's kind of hard to screw up a genesis design I'd think. Vape quality is so dependent on other factors... I don't even know why I'm mentioning the vape quality. That has more to do with the user than the device.

ease of use = surprisingly easy and very comfortable. I had never built a wick before. I had never wrapped a coil before. I built my wick and coil (big respect to PBusardo and Igetcha) filled up the Temon DID with my current favorite juice and started vaping away. No hot spots, no dry hits, no shorts, just perfect. I built my second wick and made a twisted coil yesterday - worked like a charm. I watched a lot of videos and did a lot of research/lurking before I got into this genesis thing so that probably explains why coils and wicks haven't been difficult to do.

value = this is tricky. Are pieces like this art? Are they just a tool to turn liquid into vapor? It's up to you. My opinion = totally worth it.

Metal Madness = top of the line customer service. Emails, communications, shipping, etc. Just plain excellent. they left nothing to be desired. Big respect to Elias and Alexia who traded some emails with me.

I guess that's all I really have to say about the Temon. I love it. I've had multiple people (strangers to vaping) ask what it was and where it came from and comment on how nice it is and feels. For this review I should have just said "This thing is totally sweet!"... as a matter of fact I'm going to stop this review right now. You should stop reading and go vape a Temon to see if it's right for you.

I lied. I'm still typing. One last thing... Thank you Metal Madness. You have made a friend, fan and loyal customer out of me so don't let any of us down and keep up the good work !!!

I can only second that. I do not have the whole set, just the Temon D16 atomizer. Although it looks small, be not misled by its size. This little devil can hold exactly 2.9 ml of juice when assembled, compared to 3.5 ml tank of its big brother DID D20. That's only 0.6 ml difference. But what a difference! I can put Temon on anything without it looking awkvard or bullish. Be it ProVari, a mechanical telescope EA mod or my Bulli Smoker 14500 mod. You could even put it on an eGo battery if you like (not that I would recommend that) and it would still look great (with eGo thread cover of course). It is just the right size. I cannot say the same of D20. It is just... big and heavy. But as for performance, they are on par. Because of this I take Temon with me everywhere, while D20 sits at home most of the time. So if you are looking for a great compact genie, do yourself a favour and go for the Temon.

Very welcome and I'm positive you will enjoy it !

I vote you definitely pick up a legit D16 when you can. The look of the 2 together is very easy on the eyes. I hope they get glass tanks in stock soon. In the mean time I'm sure the vulcan will get the job done! If you happen to be looking for 14650 batteries I can vouch for Truvapes based out of south Florida. I ordered some batteries and a charger from them and they threw in one of those safety charging bag things. Sweet! So kudos to them.

PS - The locking switch seems to be working better and better as time goes by. It was already perfect brand new but I've noticed over the last week it's like it's getting smoother??? Maybe its just becoming an extension of my hand and it's a mental thing. Maybe juice is lubricating?

Thanks for confirming my suspicions Dexter. I was a little bummed at first that I was "settling" for the D16 but once I used it for a couple days... it just operates and feels... right. Any larger or smaller and I don't think I'd like it as much as I do. That dang standard drip tip it comes with is so perfect too. I thought about getting a replacement, something flashy looking but the shape, the feel, the fit of the standard - why fix what aint broke?!

The Pit of Despair
I ordered mine Thursday ('blemished' 14500 battery holder only; they no longer offer the sets or 'new' tubes) and it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow -- AMAZING shipping from Greece when I've waited a week for items that are a couple states away. Now they list the Temon atty in the 'blemished' section, so I might just end up with one of those, too. :vapebudgethands:

I got the 14500 because there is no AW IMR 14650 and I had a bunch of 14500s laying around. Not a problem to carry a couple spares in my pocket anyway since they're the size of an AA battery.

And for those of you wondering how to pronounce "Temon", I watched a Greek reviewer on youtube and he pronounces it "te-MOAN".
