Used the E-juice me up calculator.

Nic Strength = 24MG 100%PG
Target Nic = 18MG
Amount to make= 5ML
Flav1 = Perfume Apprentice Watermelon 20%
Flav2 = Perfume Apprentice Sweetner 3%

Nic juice = 3.75ML or 75 drops
PG 70% = -1.4ML or -28 drops (any idea why I get negative numbers?)
VG 30% = 1.5ML or 30 drops
Watermelon = 1ML or 20 drops
Sweetner = 0.15ML or 3 drops

Threw it on a debridged atomizer and the taste was ok. Vaper was good. Throat hit was good.
Decided to throw it in the dual coil mega cart to taste it for a while and see what I think.

Nothing fancy, but wanted to start simple to get an idea of how the flavor is going to play out.

Simplyme, you have a nic base of 100% PG and your flavoring is all PG.
And because your cutting your NIC very little from 24 to 18mg, there is not much room to work with.
You will have to make your final out come 98.1% PG to rid the negative numbers.
By you using the 1.4ml of PG instead of ZERO and your VG should have been 0.1ml of VG instead of 1.5ml. You actually diluted your Nic to a much lower level than the 18mg that you targeted.

The main problem is the 24mg to an 18mg target. If it was 100mg, you could achieve the 70/30 ratio with room to spare.

Okay I figured out what you made your NIC level. It is 11.54mg
I used the "Combine Nicotine Liquids" function included in the calculator to find your result of 11.54mg

Edit:
One more thing... that's if you didn't use Box Elder Nic... :oops:

Not sure what happened with my last batch. Aside from the flavor, throat hit and vapor, it was pretty terrible. Gave me a very scratchy throat. Was not smooth at all going in or out. All around harsh.

For a second I thought I was in over my head. How is it that I mess up on a liquid that only has one flavor. Imagine if I had done two. Well guess what, I did just that!

Strawberry banana juice. Probably one of my favorite drinks, so the vape must be fantastic right. It was!

100% PG Nic 24MG
Target Nic 12MG (too light for me. no TH)
Amount to make 10ML (used a 10ML bottle, but was only 5ML full when completed)
Strawberry 10%
Banana 10%
PG 70% (came out to be 0 drops)
VG 30% (60 drops)

Taste is very good. Vapor is wonderful. TH is nonexistent. I really need to figure out a way to get the NIC level higher without it telling me that I have negative numbers. My target should be 18MG, but when I add a percentage of VG, I am told that I have a negative PG. The only way I can get PG to 0 out is to be at 5% VG. Is this the equivalent of 70/30% for my target NIC?

It's because you're trying to mix too close to your base nic juice. To get 24mg to 18mg you're using 75% just nic base, then 20% flavoring is making your juice 95% PG, so that only leaves room for 5% VG. If you want a higher VG% then you're going to need a higher mg nic base. To get 70/30 PG/VG at 18mg you'll need to use at least 36mg nic base.

ETA: Or get a nic base with a PG/VG mix
