Quick question, say if your shooting for a 10% flavor mix to start. And you have 2 flavors, would you mix 10% of each or 5% ?

If I wanted a 2 flavor mix, I might start at 5% of Flavor1. Maybe it needs a bit more, so increase it to 8%. Good or not?
Maybe add Flavor2 at 2%. Increase it to where you want it. Taste Good? If yes, taste one last time and then throw it in a drawer for a week or two.
If you don't like that 10% mixture, decide where to go.. all the time keeping notes. Maybe add a third flavor. The possibilities are endless.

Success!!! I made a lovely pomegranate this morning. I started at 10% flavor and it was pretty darn good! Added another drop of flavor,, mmmmm better! Stopped at three extra drops and it's darn near perfect! Throat hit is perfect, lots of vapor, and good flavor too. I'm going to let it sit for a few days and see what it does. Dang, this is fun!!!

So you mix up a 3ml bottle of this, and a 3ml bottle of that and a 3 ml bottle of some other little change, You don't like any of them totally. So what are you going to do with 5 or 6 half empty 3ml bottles, dump them together? What if after doing all that, you hit the "SWEET SPOT" with the screwed up mixes? How are you going to re-mix all that together forthe next batch?? LOL

There is a lot of good information in this thread and I must go dig up Hoosiers blog, I wish I had known about it a few years ago when Scott first started mixing. He makes good flavors but it always seems like there is something missing, like a hidden ingredient the e-juice vendors don't tell us about. What I don't understand is why his rarely comes out dark, I like the dark flavors and he makes them for me but they are never as dark as the premixed I order from vendors. Anyway, I love reading all these post.

A friend sent me a sample of some creme Brulee last year and I just got around to trying it this month... Loved it, used it all, couldn't find anyone selling it but found a little bottle of extract, he made it up for me, it was light and ok.
Last night he found a recipe for it at gourmet vapors and made me a bottle, very good but still light. Also, I did the 20 minutes hot water steeping method.

Anyone know why our dark flavors are light?

Be careful of the toes you step on today, they may be connected to the ... you kiss tomorrow
