MadVapes 2xAA 3.7V Box Mod + 18650 Battery, 2400 mah?

Hello everyone,

after careful considerations and discussion (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/requests-opinions-reviews/119638-em-riva-vs-3-7-box-mod.html) I've decided to get MadVapes 2xAA 3.7V Box Mod .

I have one important question about this mod box:

Is it possible to use Ultrafire Protected 18650 Battery, 2400 mah with MadVapes 2xAA 3.7V Box Mod ?
Would 18650 battery damage mod box?
Are they about same size?

No, it won't fit. Both of those mods use a 14500 battery. They are 50mm long. An 18650 is 65mm long & it is also has a 4mm larger diameter than a 14500. The 14500 is a great battery. 2 of them last me a whole day/night of heavy vaping.

I was hoping someone could tell me what battery box would fit 18650 li-ion batteries. I currently have a mod that I built with a 2AA covered box I found @Radio Shack. I think the only batteries that would fit will probably be 14500 batteries. I find the box to be a bit too small for me anyway. I have eight 18650 batteries that I dug out of an old laptop battery so I bought a 18650 charger from dealextreme. Im just waiting for it to come in. Im sorry, I failed to mention that I wired it so it would be universal. There is a connection wire coming out of the bottom that I can plug into a USB or a wall socket or a 3.7v battery. So I guess its a Universal Box Mod. If not I just coined the term.

Ill soon be building a box mod that can hold 2 18650 batteries. That would have around 5000 - 6000 mah charge. VAPE ALL WEEK!
Ill also try to make it universal so it can be used as a USB/AC passthrough.

Already out, the Tekkeon mod is made with 2 x 18650 Batts I have one and it's variable voltage, last about 2 days on heavy vaping

Yeah does the Tekkeon mod run universal? Can you plug it in you USB? Can you plug into the wall? I didnt think so.

and also too heavy? 2 18650's only weigh 2 1/2 ounces. I'm holdin them in my hand right now they dont feel that heavy to me. The batt box I'm gonna use probably weighs like 5 grams so I dont really agree with you there. But like I said before, I havent built it yet and when I do I'll post pics here.

I really woul like to know what happens to batteries when they explode. I am new to mods and dont want to die or be permenantly disfigured. Please help, thank you for not deleting.

Well they don't explode, per se but they "vent".
