Battery suggestions for the VV Box Mod with Indicator?

Just wondering if there are recommended 14500's for the Variable Voltage Box mod with Indicator from MadVapes?

The website only says "14500"...

Should I go with AW's? UltraFire protected?

Does it matter?

I currently have the charger shown below, which I use to charge my AW IMR 18650's and AW IMR 18490's for my ProVari, so I'd prefer if the batteries for the MadVapes VV Box mod I just ordered work with the same charger.

Any suggestions for vendors (MadVapes is apparently out of stock on 14500's) with decent prices and fast delivery to California would be greatly appreciated!

Same here, I received my order but NO VV box in the package......also no explanation from Madvapes...

Dont get Ultra Fire, The only good ones I've had that don't shut off at high voltage have been the 18500's from ultra fire. Trustfire I've had no problems with at any any size or voltage.

Well, that figures!

I didn't get any response back, so I figured I'd just order the same 14500's that MadVapes sells on their site, from another vendor. Figured I can't go wrong purchasing whatever MV's suggests!

A long while back, I ordered an Ali'i. It took about four weeks for him to make it, and when it arrived, it turned out the batteries that I had ordered didn't work, so I THEN, after finally getting my Ali'i, had to wait about four or five MORE days to receive the correct batteries for the device! NOT fun, staring at your new PV, all shinny and ready to go, with no batteries!

Figured I wanted to avoid the same thing with the MadVapes VV Box mod, so I stuck to the batts they have on their site.

Guess I will wait for the Ultra Fire's to arrive, and see how they work. I only ordered a pair, so, if necessary, I'll pick up some TrustFires as well.
