MadVapes and fraudulent credit card charges?

Hello. Last week I ordered from madvapes and a few days later, my credit card was used fraudulently. One was for Nintendo Digital, another was used for a sail boating competition and some others were for various charities/ministries. I was taken for about $80. I immediately called my bank and stopped the card. Now I'm in the process of trying to recover my money.

So, a few minutes ago, I just happen to stumble across a couple of topics regarding the same circumstances.

Not saying for sure that madvapes is responsible but the other topics made alarm bells go off for me.

MadVapes is my favorite place to get e-liquids and drip tips... but now I'm afraid to use them.

If this has happened to you, please post here.

Boy, this just won't go away, will it. MadVapes has NOTHING to do with your identity theft. The problem is on your end, your computer. You have a keylogger or something that "reads" your keystrokes and "saw" the credit card numbers you put in. MadVapes doesn't even get to see all your credit card numbers that you enter. Look around, read other posts from other Vendors......it's happening to them, too. Gesh, enough already! Haven't misinformed people done enough damage to MadVapes reputation???

I'm done answering these. We've done our due diligence on our part and it's not happening at our website. Neither our website or our warehouse locations have access to credit card data. If you feel that this has happened to you, heresay on a forum is not the place to post it. Please log a ticket with DETAILED with transaction dates and times, not speculation. Many transaction may not post for a few days if from a foreign country.

Our conversation with our cart provider based off of the ecf threads:

Hi Mark,

I saw the forum posts and spoke to our head security admin on the subject. There's absolutely no evidence at all that your site has been compromised or that any data is compromised. The first thing to also remember is that credit card information isn't stored at 3dcart.

Even if someone has your login as an admin to the Store Manager, there is no place to go, look, dig, or export that will provide the customer's payment info. It's impossible as it's not stored anywhere. They would have to have had access to the payment processor somehow. I'm not 100% sure what's happening to these folks in those forum posts, but I can say with absolute certainty that their credit cards aren't being stolen from the 3dcart store.
