I got some of their cheesecake as well.

This is the 3rd vendor's cheesecake I've tried and madvapes(top vapor) is the best. The others' were more sweet but topvapor has the "rich" part down that you get with real cheesecake.

I've got some cherry, blueberry, and strawberry that I'll randomly mix it with @ 2:1 cheesecake to berry ratio. Works awesome on it's own as well. I swear I can even taste the graham cracker crust in there somewhere. Maybe that's the key?

Definitely one of the few liquids I can vape all day.

I can totally taste the graham cracker crust as well and it has a creamy taste too it as well. Get some of the blackberry and try it with the cheesecake...definite treat!

Throat hit: 9 Believe it or not it packed quite the nice little punch to your throat at 24mg. But not too much.

This is confusing. 9 out of 10, one would assume that this Mad Vapes Strawberry Shortcake is one of the throat hit kings and we should all be rushing out to get a bottle. However, "nice little punch" and "not too much" are damning with faint praise. Sure you want to stick with 9 on a scale of 10, where 9 equals close to the best throat hit a juice can offer? From Strawberry Shortcake? This is going to outhit my analog replacement and cigar vapes?

All good points... Wouldn't say its reckless. But its good. You need to remember these are all my opinions. A juice I would give a 10 for throat hit is ry4 from dekang. But that's a 10 to me as it is the most I need. Anything more is ridiculous IMO. I like vapor because it doesn't tear up my throat like cigs. But to each his own I guess... Maybe I need to try some higher throat hit juices so I can adjust my scale. Also remember I am still relatively new to this... Any suggestions for reckless throat hit? And maybe next time I should list what I am basing my scale on?

i get a hint of vanilla bean in it too, it has it all. i'll have to give their berry juices a shot but for me the cheesecake stands on it's own 2 feet.

Man I really have to try this now... lol a lot of people are like it evidently. Just so everyone knows I just got a sample of their nutty caramel. While it is very good on its own, it mixes very well with ry4 and apple. XG4BX I think I already let you know that but heads up to everyone else. It might go well with cheesecake too... yum

i got my bottle of the strawberry shortcake today. i can't comment on the flavor yet because i'm extremely sleep deprived and my taste buds aren't up to snuff but you weren't far off on the TH, i'm certainly feeling it. i'm getting a great lung hit from it too, it's satisfying.

Thats good to hear!!! I did notice with my larger bottle I had to let it set for a week... then strawberry deliciousness ;-). I'm through almost 20 ml already lol

You know....I am starting to change my opinion on the Strawberry Shortcake. At first it was at best bland tasting and I could not taste even a hint of strawberry but lately it's getting quite good. I am starting to enjoy it. Weird.

If you haven't tried their Pear...get it. It's really good.

Yup its strange... it does get better with age. I will be trying the pear on my next order too :) thanks for the heads up

i think mv sent me the wrong juice, this isn't strawberry shortcake. it's a fairly dark brown and is probably their raspberry truffle or chocolate strawberry juice. doesn't taste like much of anything...

or maybe it is and i just expected more of a cake flavor.... i'll let it sit for awhile.

i have to give the pear a shot too. i still want to try triple zest, chocolate fudge bavarian cream and cinnibiscus too. *sigh* i guess i'll be ordering a stack of 10ml bottles next time.

That makes my next order cheesecake, blackberry, cherry, and pear (probably some more strawberry shortcake too ;-)). Anything I am forgetting?

try fried apple and if you're feeling adventureous a small bottle of grandpas mix. i like it but i'd say its an acquired taste, its like a cucumber/honeydew mix.

Its dark? that's weird I would contact them about that... Then again maybe after it sits for a week or two you may notice a difference. After two weeks the flavor in mine really started to pop. I think they mix them when you order so their might be slight variations with every order :-[ and that's too bad really. Its kind of weird that when I ordered a 5ml bottle of the strawberry shortcake it tasted great right off the bat. Could be the bottles they are using? maybe they have a bad aftertaste, I would hate to think they don't clean them out first :-/ yikes. I have since tried the fried apple and it was very good. Mixed well with ry4 and nutty caramel too :). As for the triple zest... If you like very perfumey flavors its good for you. I noticed a slight mixed drink aftertaste. Didn't really like it at all though so I gave it away :-/. I also tried the mandarin orange. Same reaction there just a little less perfumey. Really reminded me of an aftertaste from a orange vodka shot. So I didn't really like that either. The grandpas mix sounds... interesting. Maybe they will eventually send me a sample with an order lol.

here's what my s.s. looks like-

strawberry.jpg

i've had color variations before, my previous apple and cheesecake were clear but the latest bottles are a mild yellow but this is pretty extreme for something thats supposed to be strawberry.

i'm not going to rake them over the coals though, it was the week after christmas and i'm sure they had many orders to get out. bleep happens.

Hey there! I hate to rain on the Top Vapor parade here, but I just reviewed 3 of their liquids (banana bread, honeydew, and triple zest) and wasn't too impressed with any of them. Bland definitely could describe them all. I'll wait a week and try again, but their liquid was really thin which I'm not fond of considering I primarily drip for my reviews so I can get the best idea of how the juice tastes/performs. I've heard the same about BWB, but they were all great right out of the package. Steeping seems to basically concentrate the liquid; essentially losing volume in the process so this takes some wind out of the inexpensive sails. Sorry, but I felt you guys needed a counterpoint over here!
