oakie013 ask me to help him out with this mod so I will try too.I built this along time ago so hope this will work out.
First grind down the connector so that the thin lip is gone.

Opps forgot first take out the guts from the head piece.
2nd your center pin must be longer than the connector.lThe connector will sit on the body to make the ground and complete the circuit,so the pin will go deeper into the body to make contact with the battery.

Sorry about the blurry pics I'm not good with this posting picture thing.
So your connector will sit flat onto the body of the light and the pin will go into the body to hit the top of the battery.

Now if you load your battery and attach a carto or atty you can hold the connector like in the picture if your contact is good and your pin is the rite length it should fire.If not check that the connector is touching the body and the is no paint on the body you may have to sand it a little
Once you get the pin length rite and it's firing your carto or atty you can put the head assembly on and glue it tougher

This is what it should look like. Now when you get it all ready to glue together don't screw the head all the way down leave a little room to play with.So if all is rite your mod should work by turning the head clockwise to fire and a slight turn counter clockwise to turn off.Hope this help you out Oakie........Boomer . .
