Hi all,
When I stopped smoking/started vaping on January 1st this year I had bought a starter kit from 'Magicmist' consisting of 2 batteries, 1 charger and atomizer tips containing Original Tobacco flavour, I think they were 18 mg nicotine. I was quite amazed how relatively easy it was not to have a cigarette. (While I was sucking the hell out of the e-cigarette)
By the end of my second week I had bought 3 chargers, 8 batteries and 50 Original Tobacco cartridges.
I am not knocking any of the above, after all it had got me through best part of a month without a single cigarette, but I knew that this wasn't a practical long term solution so I set about reading everything that I could find on the net to progress my vaping for the long term gains. Something I should have done in the first place maybe, but I didn't start this 'quit' with any real confidence that it would work, or that this was going to be my last quit.
I ended up purchasing a Coolfire 1V and a few Nautilus tanks. At the same time I also purchased 25 bottles of different flavors, some tobacco and some exotic sounding flavours. To my utter dismay I didn't like any of the flavours even the four tobacco flavours. It was back to magicmist to purchase their 10 ml bottles of original tobacco flavour.
A few weeks ago I started mixing my own liquid and purchased all the paraphernalia required to make, so far, five very small batches of drain cleaner, and have just ordered another ten bottles of original tobacco flavour from magicmist!
I would be so grateful if there is any Forum member who has a recipe that is anywhere near close to the magicmist original tobacco flavour that I could experiment with.
Thank you all.

I hope someone comes up with the recipe you want.

It tends to be hard to come up with a recipe that duplicates a specific juice though. My experience with mixing was that my early efforts didn't come close to being as good as my favorite premixed juices. My advice is to keep on experimenting, and keep an open mind. Try other flavors, like fruit and desert. You might be surprised at what you end up liking. Sooner or later you will get better at mixing, it does take a while.

good luck

Tobacco flavors are hit or miss. I never really cared for them. At best, they remind me of chewing tobacco. Once you get your tastebuds back in working order, some of those 25 odd juices you tried may well warrent another taste test. Smoking dulls your tastebuds and it takes a while to come back from that. There are lots and lots of juice flavors available today that are well made and quite delightful to vape, once you are able to fully taste them. And there are also some truly gross flavors out there too. The fun, for me at least, is to find the one that i gotta taste over and over again. And ive found bunches in the nearly 2 yrs ive been vaping. Advice here being then, dont get hung up on one juice. What is easy to get today may become hard to find tomorrow. Dont depend on one thing to get you through.

Hi all and thank you for your response,
I do take on board what you are both saying about other flavours that I may learn to appreciate as my experience builds.
However, I have just been on the magicmist site to see if I could glean any more information on the original tobacco mix. I had previously looked at the product and noted that they said that they used a 20/80 base and net flavour. I had used this base in all the batches that I had made. Now for the red face bit. Not being the sharpest tool in the box, I have been mixing the 20/80 the wrong way round!
Will make another mix tonight the correct ratio.
Thank you once again for your replies.

I never tried that particular tobacco, but do know Heather's heavenly vapes does some truly awesome tobacco juices..they have regular and net tobacco's, but their nets is where it's at. They are very clean and dont gunk coils and you have the option of nic percentage from 0 to 36mg and whatever pg/vg percentage you want. Dragons fire, temptation, heavenly army, legend, heavenly tobacco, huntsman, shadow are a few that might work for you if you are unable to find the recipe for your current favorite..good luck
