All RDA's are not created equal and a Magma <> Trident V2.

Same juice, same mod and same build (or as close as I can make them). 2 vapes and I'm nic buzzed using the Magma. Draw is a bit tighter, the vape is slightly warmer and I'm tempted to try to yodel looking at the juice wells. They look deep enough to echo and I'd guess they're holding 1.5-2ml of juice.

If you've been considering one IMO they're worth a try.

Hmmm, Im glad I saw this. Ive been on the fence about this atty. It sounds similar to my experience with the Strata and though all those features are a big plus for the average person, its a "con" for me. I guess the trend for lower resistance , room filling clouds etc is what the new atomizers are made for. I love the design of the Magma, the deep wells and most important the placement of the intake air. Makes so much sense to have the holes right under the coil, just like the much loved Kayfun and my Odysseus.

Im a dinosaur and enjoy cooler, less intense vapes. I will stick to my boring Fatty V2.

I wouldn't call a Magma a cloud chasing RDA out of the box but I'm sure you could modify it and turn it into one though if that was what you were looking to get from it. I bought it because of the deep juice wells.

Thinking about modding it for use on a Reo I have coming since it seems relatively leak free so far.

I agree with it really not being for cloud chasing. I will say it produces the best taste to date I've gotten from a number of RDA which is what I'm looking for. Oh and I have about 15 different ones at the moment and surface it to say none compare in taste to it.

+1 I have a dozen and only one compares (really it kicks it's ....) is my Viking. The Magma rocks and anyone looking it picking one up won't go wrong!

I'm running mine the same way I built my Trident V2.

On a ZNA 30 at 25-27.5W, .5ohm dual coils and wicked with cotton. Really nice vape and I'd agree the flavor does seem better than I was getting out of the Trident. I'm not sure if it's because it's new, and everyone knows that a new mod/atty ALWAYS hits harder, but after using it for 1/2 a day I'd say it does.
