Magma RDA

I got the paradigm. It's ok, leaks a bit from the air holes. Overall I'd say it's a pretty messy setup- I think I'm spoiled by tanks. You've really got to pay attention if you fill it up- no tipping, even a little bit.

It took me a few days to get used to it, but as long as I don't over fill it I don't get any leaks. I use a single coil, fill it vertically, then lean the air hole toward me when I vape. It sounds like a pain, but you get used to it, and the vape is simply awesome. 15 watts is all I need to blow pretty legit clouds with the best flavor I've had from an atty. The only issue I still have with mine (I have the infinite clone) is that the post is waaaay too long. Even on my Seven 22 with a floating pin, it won't quite screw all the way down on the device. Close enough for me though :)

I'm liking mine... BUT, having one issue with my infinite...
It wobbles on my rDNA... no snug fit... screwed it on tight and it wobbles... annoying... less wobble on my other box mods... anyone else have this issue or a solution?
Thanks.

Hmmm not sure if it is your Magma or the RDNA. I see you said it was tightened all the way down. I just tested my infinite Magma on my Provari and cloupor DNA 30, and no wobble. One of them had a tiny wobble I tightened a little more and it was solid. I have my mech loaned out right now to another ECF member so can't check it on that. I ordered a RDNA. As soon as I get my RDNA I will check on that for you and let you know my findings. I am sure other RDNA owners have a Infinite Magma. Wish I had a good solution for you.

Just got mine yesterday..love the flavor..but it is a leaky @#$%%... Guess I have gotten use to the Veritas..which I cant get to leak if I try.. Think I like the draw on the Veritas better as it is much more open..flavor on the magma is just as good if not a little bit bettter...good atty...leakyness and all :)

What's your build on your Magma?

Rebuilt this morning with 26g single coil at 1.3 ohms

my first build was a parallel at .45 and it was just to much for me

just got my IPV and find the magma with this is much better over 1 ohm

need to change my thinking from sub ohming on mechs

That's pretty much what I wanted to hear. I've built mine 3 times now, increasing ohms each time but it is still too hot and not performing the way I want flavor-wise.

Been using duals so far and don't want to try that over 1 ohm so a rebuild tomorrow with a single coil over 1 ohm it is.

Thanks for your response! :toast:

Tonight I built a single coil with two pieces of 30 gauge wire, about 9 wraps around the 3mm coiling gizmo tool. 1.7 ohms wicked with rayon on the Vamo set to 15 watts.

Glycerin in an empty bottle + a few drops of Arctic Wolf menthol... loving it.
Single coil with two pieces? I'm confused lol. Parallel coil?

I can also say that the magma shines at a little bit higher resistance. I treated it like my other RDAs at first but at about 1-1.3ohm it's been killer for me! MUCH better than a normal .40 I run in everything else. I treat it like a Kayfun and it rips.

Thank you for the additional input. That's exactly what I was doing; treating it like my Plume. Different atty, different requirements.

Sounds like a parallel to me as well.

I have been running mine dual coil 28 gauge at .8 ohms 25-30 watts. Nesting my wicking under my coils and around the bottom air holes. I leave it with biggest dual holes open and a delrin cherry vapes cloud chaser drip tip. It has been working well. That said from comments on here I will try a single coil around 1.3 next time to see how I like it.
